We found a knife at the door of the church yesterday.....it looks similar to that. Have you been trying to break in?

i really liked my kershaw blackout before i lost it, but the black scratches real easy(and you have to be kinda careful, there's not much of a guard grip-blade)
got a 2nd one(special discount) with a tanto blade i liked pretty well too, kinda shankish cut(with it being black and all you can guess what other people called it) when you say "tatical folder of auto under $200.00" you mean you want one of those auto-assist ones like the blackout? I don't know whether to giggle at the idea of Compton having a "drink" or the idea that a knife would get you far in Compton.

![]() ![]() ![]() SOG-TAC Folder Tanto Black TiNi AUTO Opening 3.5" Combo Edge Blade SOG describes this item as follows: "Our customers have been asking for us to produce a tactical switchblade for years. But we waited... because we wanted to do something really special. The SOG-TAC is an invigorating new design that looks like nothing else. It is big but relatively slim and is specifically designed for action. Blade travel is definitely fast and once open it locks up like a floor safe. The machined 6061T6 hard-anodized aluminum is inset with G10 type textured inlays. There is also: a safety button that double locks the blade in the open/closed position, our reversible bayonet style clip and a practical tactical Tanto blade. We think it was well worth the wait!" Specifications * Length: 8” * Blade: 3.5” x 0.125” * Steel: AUS-8 Stainless - Rc. 57-58 * Finish: Black TiNi * Weight 3.8 oz. * Handle: Hard Anodized Aluminum * Comes with: Reversible pocket clip http://www.knifecenter.com/kc_new/st...html?s=SOGST04

This one is a little heavy, but it's a very good blade... The clip is a little weak..
![]() CRKT Anubis Automatic Fully automatic custom conversion model delivered as shown in combo edge blade. Super fast with super tight lockup. Allen Elishewitz is an acclaimed young Canyon Lake, Texas, knifemaker who offers a surprising range of custom knives, many with Egyptian-themed names. We asked Allen to design a production version of his Anubis (the jackal-headed god of the underworld, according to ancient Egyptian mythology). Our new CRKT Anubis™ shows its lineage as an Elishewitz shape, with the benefits of advanced production technology. The blade shape is uniquely Allen’s, with a pronounced drop point, long spine and a high hollow grind, resulting in strength and cutting power. For superior edge retention, we use AUS 8 stainless steel in a non-reflective bead-blast finish. A gold-plated Elishewitz logo is inset into the stainless steel blade in the manner of custom knives. Teflon® and brass bearings at the blade pivot assure fast either-hand opening, using dual checkered thumb studs which also act as blade stops. The button lock gives absolute steel-on-steel lockup, resulting in the strongest lock possible. We have added a version of our patented* automatic safety, AutoLAWKS™, giving maximum security against accidental closing. To fold the knife, you must pull back the AutoLAWKS lever and press the button at the same time, making accidental release during vigorous use just about impossible. Allen’s design also features an unusual open build with a Zytel® spine back spacer that allows easy cleaning of the blade groove. Construction is stainless steel for the frame with injection-molded Zytel scales and an inset brushed stainless steel bolster at the butt. The handle perfectly fits the average adult hand. Dual reliefs at the finger choil aid grip, and make opening easier. Everything about the Anubis shouts strength. It has the rigidity, sure lockup and heft of folders costing twice as much, and we welcome comparison. ....................s p e c i f i c a t i o n s Blade Material: AUS8 RC Hardness: 58 Blade Thickness: .14" Blade Length: 3.5" Handle Material: Stainless/Zytel Length Open: 8.3" Weight: 6.4 oz.
