How do you feel now about Sanchez and Freeman at QB?
Suppose the Chiefs would have drafted either of these guys instead of aquiring Cassel. Would they have a better record right now? Are Sanchez or Freeman truly the type of "transcendent" QB talent to will a team to victory? They are probably better than Cassel, but "how much" better?

Freeman is a borderline top 10 QB right now. He was great last night, and I've pretty much never seen Cassel play like he did.
Sanchez is top 20 QB.

Thsi doesnt even need a threrad. The answer is obvious.
Sanchez sucks. Bust. Period. Freeman would have been a better pick than TJack at #3 if we couldn't trade down. End of story, move on. |

He is an average QB with good playoff performances. Not a bust.

Sanchez is the Tyson Jackson of QBs. They'll both probably have long NFL careers, but neither of them will live up to their draft position.
I wasn't a Freeman fan in the draft, but he seems to have panned out pretty well. Freeman > Sanchez.

I wanted Freeman in the draft. The kid is good, he has "it". Sanchez is a game manager, he's a younger Cassel, glad we passed him up.

I liked Freeman. A lot of potential coming out and being a local kid I thought it would make nice fit in KC.
But hey, T-Jax is good too though. ![]()

Freeman has helped lift the Bucs to a playoff contender. He's made multiple comebacks and big throws in the clutch to bring the Bucs victories.
Sanchez has been carried by a running game and defense and been lucky to even make the postseason (see Colts benching Manning one year and Suh having to come in and shank an extra point the next.) He's played like a low tier QB at this point in his career and is not the guy that would lift the Chiefs to perennial playoff contenders. Gotta go with Freeman easily, but just how many here even wanted him on draft day ![]()

No doubt that Freeman is looking more seasoned every game while Sanchez still looks like a rookie QB to me.

Put Freeman in the Chiefs offense (when the Chiefs offense is fully healthy) and that would be a top 5 offense.
