this band is resonating again 3o years later.

any other fixx fans out there?

Wouldn't call myself a big fan but I do love the long version of Deeper and Deeper

I'm not sure if I would say I was a fan but they have enough good tunes to say their a good band.
Pure 80's stuff though it seems like yesterday.
The days when MTV was the best thing on television!

My sister was a Hawaiian tropic girl in the 80's
So as a 17 yr old kid I had the opportunity to go to a couple of Huge parties put on by the
owner of Hawaiian tropic(Ron Rice)
Two bands were at one party I was at in Daytona.
The other band you may recognize from this time period as well..

There were probably only 300 people at the party I'm talking about.. Larry Bird was there as well.
As a 17 yr old I had no reservations of mingling with these people every chance I had.
I sat at the same long table..cafateria style as the Fixx good times.
Sure I was all about Black Sabbath and hard rock but the 80's music and MTV videos were so much fun back then theres just no denying it!
