What's most impressive about his highlights is his poise and the ease in which he throws the ball.

He just makes it look easy on the college level. I'm praying he can do the same thing on the pro level.

I understand he's just a 5th rounder, but damn, anyone can throw for 93 freaking yards.

All I had really seen of the guy was in the preseason and a few Iowa games. Didn't really pay attention to him tho as I didn't think about him being a Chief.


Is it bad that he showed more, in terms of quarterback skills, in that video than the guy that has started nearly 3 years for the Chiefs?

Stanzi showed more poise in the few snaps during preseason than Cassel and Palko combined all season long.

The best thing about days like today are people lose their minds. Now we're arguing that Pioli wants to protect Cassel and not play the backup QB Pioli pretty much hand picked after a trip to Iowa. Sorry, but that makes zero sense. If either of these guys succeed, Pioli looks like a genius, which is what he wants.

Smartest thing that has been said today on this forum. People assuming that Pioli is putting pressure on Haley for Cassel to start is absurd. What do you think is more likely to get Pioli fired. A unsuccessful franchise? Or one bad trade? Yeah thought so... He will do whatever is in his power to get this franchise wins because how this franchise does has a direct correlation to his job status.
