Stanton is said to be unhappy because he was promised the No. 2 job and turned down more lucrative opportunities with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Kansas City Chiefs to play for the Jets. He received a $500,000 signing bonus, but he could have a hard time finding a new team because the backup jobs are filling up.

Well, Pioli has gone after Manning and Stanton this off-season. Who knows if he made an offer to Orton or not as well.

Maybe he is starting to sour on Cassel?

You'd think being Cassel's backup would be an attractive spot. The chances of seeing some playing time seems likely.

He was told he would be the #2 QB with no competition for the spot.
