If you’ve dreamed of a career in television, sports, or both…this could be your big shot! To celebrate our 50th year in Kansas City, the Chiefs are giving YOU the chance to join preseaon TV talents Trent Green, Paul Burmeister, and the award-winning 65 Toss Power Trap Productions crew at Lambeau Field with the Chiefs “Rock the Mic” competition. One grand prize winner will have the unique opportunity to be part of the broadcast as our official second half reporter during the August 30, 2012 Chiefs preseason game. To enter, just fill out the entry form below and submit a one minute “demo reel” displaying your best sideline reporting skills between now and August 15, 2012.

A panel of judges will select the top five entries and post them here, on this site. Fans will vote for their favorite between August 17 and August 23. Our grand prize winner, selected by the fans, will be announced here on August 24!

I might make a submission just for shits and giggles. Not sure about what to include in my "football talk." Maybe something like, "Thanks Trent. I talked to awesome face-raping badass Terrance Copper and asked what happened on that TD catch. He said it was just a good well-timed route and a great throw by Chiefs QB Matt Cassel. The wide receiver knew exactly where Matt was going to overthrow it, and adjusted his route appropriately before the ball was thrown to compensate. Ended up being a great play made by a ****ing handsome badass. Back to you guys in the booth."
