Russell Wilson & The Make A Wish Foundation
Hey ya'll check this out.

I like Russell Wilson.

Evidently after the MNF game and after he finished his ESPN and other media obligations he dressed out again and went on the field for a little kid and the Make A Wish Foundation throwing footballs, etc.

This makes that beat down on the Saints MNF a lot more bearable.

Kewl stuff.

Wilson is genuine. What a great thing to do!

And on the totally opposite end of the spectrum there is Duanta Robinson who when a member of the Texans actually refused to see children with cancer unless he got paid an appearance fee. He actually said on-air at a radio station that if he was going to have to get up at the crack of dawn, he was going to get paid for it... He is a TOTAL POS!

Very cool, but im sure alot of Athletes would be willing to do the same..or other charitable endeavors. Im sure alot of athletes would not.

So just like the rest of society, there are A-Holes and big hearted people everywhere in sports.

He would of been nothing to speak of... The true fan gif speaks volumes about this franchise and fan base.


Someone hit the nail on the head in the arrowhead murder thread... This fan base is more about the parking lot park and social event on Sunday. Its not about winning championships, its about winning home games going 9-7 and don't screw up my drunken stooper on Sunday.

Wilson wouldn't be half the QB he is now if he was in KC, the Chiefs and the true fan base don't value the QB position, never have and probably never will.
