Paying Jackson that is a waste of resources. They need someone to collapse the pocket from that position and Jackson isn't that guy.

I figured as much. I just don't know who the hell you bring in.
Tuitt's going to give you more of a push, but he's going to get raked against the run for at least a year. The free agent market is pretty weak. Antonio Smith gives you as much as you can possibly get, but who the hell knows how much gas he has left in the tank. The best possible option is Hageman, but I don't see how he lasts to 23. So that leaves you with Bailey and Catapano -- and, yeah. Good players, but world-beating pocket collapsers? I'm not advocating re-signing TJax. I just don't know what options you have. |

I'm paying Michael Bennett to do that. If I can't get him, I'm rolling with Bailey/Catapano/late rounder/UFA to play.
I'm not drafting another god damn 5 tech in the first round.

Yes, one every five years is excessive... It's not like DL are important in the 3-4, right.
Bennett's a good option. You land him, however, then you're essentially forfeiting the rest of your offseason. And that means you're entering the draft with legit holes at WR, TE, and S. And that you're banking on Kelce and Commings returning to whatever form they were supposed to be in originally. |

We need penetrators, not cloggers. Also, McCullers is terrible, lol. He is a BFN, big for nothing. Powe is way better than McCullers is and you won't have to waste a draft pick on him. We need a pass rush specialist along the DL, not another clogger that will play maybe 2% of the defensive snaps.
