I agree with most of it.

I think Smith will start reading more of the field if he feels 'safe' with our Oline blocking.

NO QUICK PRESSURE!!

If our Oline can avoid the big whiff and give Smith consistent time he will relax and start being more aggressive and using the entire field.

We can only hope. Until I see it happen, I remain skeptical.

People have every reason to be skeptical.

Just like i'm skeptical that Albert Wilson will ever be more than a Jag because of his fear/injury issues.

See I think the key to beating smith is good coverage down the field and not try to sack him. Keep in the pocket and let his bad decisions defeat him. Where he kills you is on the outside.

Smith is an accurate short/intermediate passer that makes minimal mistakes....I'm not sure expecting him to "defeat himself" is a great game-plan. You are a Donko fan...so things like actual football strategy are confusing.

Smith's streak of 312 pass attempts without throwing an interception was only the second streak in NFL history of over 300 pass attempts without a pick.

I think your advice is more relevant in defensing Sanchez....teams are going to stack the box against a suspect o-line and take away the run. They are going to make him beat you with his decision-making.

You're right, pressure smith and watch him dump the ball off for minimal gains then punt the ball and do it all over again on the next possession. Let Smiff go 10/15 for a buck fiddy but no INTs.
