The Kansas City Chiefs announced on Sunday that the club has waived eight players. Each team is required to be down to 75 players by 3 p.m. on Aug. 30. The league’s final roster cutdown to 53 players must take place before 3 p.m. on Sept. 3. Below is a look at the club’s moves.

I don't expect to see any surprise cuts to get to 75. The bottom 15 aren't really on the bubble. They're on the outside looking in.

I don't even know who their long snapper is this year.

Bah ... Hammond is a JAG and to make it even worse, he's a special teams JAG.

There has to be a guy with more potential that can learn/play special teams.

Hammond is basically Terrence Copper with punt return skills. They'll probably keep DAT over Hammond but DAT is made of glass so they may go that way instead. They need someone to back up Hill in the returns.
