Cardinals fielding offers for Patrick Peterson

PM needs da PP! 5000 pages! Forget Jalen, I'm hard for the PP!!!

https://www.si.com/nfl/2019/10/13/ca...campaign=sinow

"The Arizona Cardinals are fielding trade calls from teams interested in star cornerback Patrick Peterson, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported on Sunday.

According to Schefter, the Cardinals have gotten calls from at least three teams trying to trade for Peterson. Peterson, 28, has been the center of trade rumors this past offseason after he requested a trade back in October 2018. Peterson previously said he "desperately" wanted out of Arizona, who finished the 2018 season 3–13."

Can he play on the line or at linebacker? Because that's a much more pressing need, IMHO.

If you think he can legit man up on someone that could improve the defense because it changes how you play coverage and could get you an extra man in the box more often.

Lets not forget we just watched Will Fuller roast our asses and just drop the balls.

It's always beyond the 1st down marker. That's his first clue.

Maybe. But how many times have we heard that in today's NFL if it's one-on-one the receiver is going to get open? So improving at CB will help, but will it help enough to free up another player to stuff in the box?

I don't know. It wouldn't hurt to have him, certainly, but if it comes down to getting him versus getting another good player on the line or at LB, I would go for the latter.

Breeland is not an awful player he is a 2/3. When you ask him to cover Will Fuller you're asking for it, he isn't fast enough to do it so he grabs him because he knows he can't keep up.

The Chiefs have this real problem of asking guys to do shit they can't do, hey Bashaud, you're gonna run with Will Fuller even though he runs 4.3 and you run 4.5 make it work! Hey LB's I'm going to give you coverage responsibilities that require elite talent, I know you don't have it but do it anyway!

The other issue is, when the offense gets healthy will this constant running go away, teams can only stick with that so long if they are giving up a lot of points.
