Chiefs Share your Vegas stories from SB 58

I just had some interesting interactions here in Vegas and thought others could share cool stories in a thread.

1st: On my connecting flight in yesterday from Minneapolis I sat next to kyte Juszczyk's mom. Her flight out of Cleveland was delayed and she had been rebooked. I asked why she wasn't out to Vegas earlier and she said she is an Accountant and can't afford that much time off with it being the start of Tax season. She was super nice and very unassuming. It was surreal during the flight when her daughter in law, Kristin, was being interviewed by ESPN about her NFL fashion designs and I tapped her elbow and showed her on my screen. I hope the Chiefs throttle SF, but his Mom was super nice.

2nd: We went to the Prince show, Purple Reign, and got back to the hotel about 11:30 and headed to the bar for a few drinks. Started talking with this couple and it ended up being Robert Jones, who play MLB for the Cowboys during their 3 superbowl run in the 90's. Zay Jones is their son. He had his 3 Superbowl Rings and his wife went and got them and he let look at them and try them on. We talked with him for about an hour about football, and our similar business interest. Zay still has a house in Vegas from when he was a Raider, and they were here visiting, but stayed in a hotel, because as he stated, "Zay is single and he is having a Single Guy's Vegas SB weekend and they wouldn't have gotten much sleep... Very cool dude with great stories.

In 1998 I saw Robbie Knievel jump 30 limos for a world record. Before the jump I met Evel Knievel in the lounge at the Tropicana. Matthew McConaughey was with him discussing MM playing Evel in a movie.
After the jump we snuck into an after party for the crew. I met Michael Jackson’s dad there. His (half?)son owns the company that made all Robbie’s crew’s jackets etc.
at midnight flying home I saw McConaughey in the terminal. He snubbed me for an autograph. I mouthed-off and he stepped to me a few minutes later to confront me. I didn’t want a fight and just joked my way out of it.
Then I passed out on the flight and later threw up all over a white Cadillac with gold trim in the LAX parking lot.

Went to The Offspring concert on Fremont, great show, then afterward, some old dumb ass Chiefs fan's wife got her beer accidently spilled by a kid and the wife started yelling at her husband, he confronted the youngster, 16 or 17 and punched him, then the youngsters Dad, looked like a Raider fan got involved, then the police converged and arrested them all. My son has video I may post later. After that I was talking to some other folks nearby and it ended up being LaJarius Sneed's brother. Pretty cool guy, and really proud of his brother. I said, yep he's gonna get paid. We will probably franchise him, and his brother said yep, $22 million and he high fived me. We then headed to the other side of Fremont and ran into a Chiefs fan in his 50's in full pads. My son took a pic and I may post it asking if it is any of you ****ers... Almost GT! LFG

Just saw video of how crowded Freemont st was. Glad I wasn’t there. Went to see Tom Segura and Bert Kreisher at MGM. Had a blast and they played Star Spangled Banner at the end and the chiefs fans done their part at the end! Cool to see it outside a game as well!
