Having a rookie LT protecting Patrick's blindside scares me a bit.

Wright was a much better RT in college. Probably will be the same in the league.

If Land doesn’t fit young definitely doesn’t. And as our only pick at DE?

I like the Benton pick.

Way too high to take a safety this year. Cool will step in as the starter.

Don’t see Haselwood sa fit

Those FA signings, outside of Taylor, are ****ing trash.

And Taylor is getting more than 2 years and $19 million.

****ing Thielen?!?! Why?! And at that price you can **** all the way off. If you’re going to sign Thielen for that, just spend some extra money an resign JuJu.

Man alive wtf my dude.

I'm rippin this one apart.

Mitch Trubisky? Yeah **** that dude. I don't even want that as a backup.
Adam Thielen at 33 for 24m over 2? Nah thanks. I'd be game on a 1 for 7 or some shit like that.
Jawaan Taylor... I have my doubts he signs a 2 year deal and I have a feeling he comes in at at least 15 per. Someone is going to pay him and bank on 2022 not being an anomaly. I'm ok with it, I guess, but I'm legit worried about overpaying for him and him returning to the pumpkin he was prior to this season. I'd much rather target Pipkins, who was every bit a good RT but should come much cheaper because of his injury that shortened his season.

But signing Taylor or whatever, to take Wright in round 1 seems silly. I've grown to like Wright a lot but absolutely not as a LT. And while RT and LT have grown to near equal importance, they are not effectively interchangeable positions and they still do entertain slightly different skill sets.

Signing Donovan Smith in FA at LT and drafting Wright at RT would be a move I could get behind.

I love Benton. I've stated before I don't think he's there at 63. If he's there, yeah, count me in as pounding the table. I even support a trade up for him, especially if the Chiefs don't address the NT position in FA.

I do like Byron Young at DE. He's a bit short but he's athletically gifted and productive. The only reason he's going to slide is his age. I don't think he slides to day 3 though, personally. I'm going to rip your ass like you did mine about the lack of edge talent you're putting up here. Dunlap and Young? That's it? What? Haha.

I also like Abanikanda A LOT. He's a really good back for this system.

Trey Palmer struggles with drops but he's an athletic freak show. He ran a 4.33 and put up 1k yards in the B1G last year and you think he's lasting until the late 5th? Bullshit. Round 3 is his floor, I'd bank on it.

I'm fine with Hayes as a guard prospect. Do not like as a tackle at all.

Johnson, Williams, and Mustipher are nice gets late but I feel like Mustipher is more like a round 5 guy if I'm being honest.

I don't want nothing to do with Haselwood in this offense and I don't think the Chiefs will either. Big, slow receivers just don't fit here. At all.

Too little too late at Edge, Wright is a RT in the NFL, not a left.

I agree with Crow, I'm just not into it. Thanks for your time and effort, though.

Main issue I have is I'd probably try and target DE more in FA and I just don't like Taylor. I'd probably try and get a guy like Beachum as a cheap short-term vet or Eleumenor as a possibly ascending RT. But he is a pass-pro first type so I get it. Also, I have no idea what we can realistically get at DE in FA, so again, I might be dreaming.

Aside from Wright as a LT i really don't hate a lot of those picks. Some look hard to believe but not implausible to me, but kccrow is probably right on Palmer after his 40. All the other picks I like, if there, including Battle.
