Myyyyyyyyyy goodness. Who's ready to riot? Discussion is at the 56 minute mark.

This is yet another "I wanted to get this guy in the first round" pick.

I'm not a huge fan of the Chiefs trading up in the 1st (love it in the 2nd). But Murphy, and Mayer are right there. Riiiiiight there.

And it has nothing to do with the player but where are you playing him? You literally drafted a player that will not be a starter at any point in his first year because you aren't cutting or trading Thuney.

I would be beyond pissed if we draft a guard in the first round when we have 2 top tier guards on the roster and there are tons of players on the board that can immediately impact the team.

I wonder of Torrence agent wanted him in the first and paid King.

Yup.

Somebody's agent slipped King a Finsky to get him in the first round of the mock.

Which is silly because Torrance might actually GO in the first round. But he ain't going to the Chiefs in the first round.

That's just staggeringly stupid and should completely discredit anything King has to say about KC. If he fell to the damn 2nd somehow, KC wouldn't take him (they'd trade out).

These national guys aren't just so obviously in cruise anymore. Especially the hold heads. They haven't put in any actual work (King in particular) in a decade or more. King's more interested in pushing social causes and building his brand than he is actually putting forward meaningful content anymore.

King's a piece of shit.

Thuney isn't cuttable until after 2024.

Trey Smith is under contract through 2024, and will be 25 years old?

Torrence didn't play a snap -- a single snap -- at tackle in college.

I mean, what are we even doing.

I don't even think there's an answer here that doesn't involve Thuney playing RT.

Taylor
Torrence
Humphrey
Smith
Thuney

That's not.... terrible, actually. That's actually pretty damn impressive.

No...just stop. It would be as stupid as drafting a ****ing QB in the first round.

[BR] Peter King on C.J. Stroud: 'It's No Lock He Goes in the Top 7' of 2023 NFL Draft

So either King has some great sources or he's on crack.

Based on a good segment of this mock, he's on crack.
