Chiefs NASCAR Package

With our elite DT sitting out do you believe Spags will implement his NASCAR package more often?

NASCAR Front: A Defensive front comprised of speed rushers like defensive ends and linebackers.

Back in his Giants days he was famous for running the NASCAR package the majority of the time because he did not have a dominate DT. It worked and the Giants had one of the top D's in the NFL.

He ran NASCAR throughout his years at the Giants but mostly a mix of these guys:

Strahan-6'5 255
JPP-6'5 275
Tuck-6'5 265
Mathias-6'5 265
Osi-6'3 255

We have seen him run it here in KC but just not as often. I tried to find stats on this but just couldn't find anything so if anyone has these that would be great to see!

While most teams have this type of package Spags seemed to run it the most.

So do you think he could lean on that more this year while Jones is out and if so who do you think he would lineup in the front OR use more of a NASCAR shotgun package like the Pats do keeping the front 4 fresh?

Karlaftis-6'4 265
Omenihu-6'5 280, when he comes back
Felix-6'4 255

Maybe even throw Chenal down and see what he can do in this formation?

Thoughts on Spags turning the clock back to his Giants days?
