Arrowhead Kingdom invades New York City/Jersey

Location:

Similar to other major arenas there are essentially two different parking passes: a Platinum Pass and a Gold Pass. While a parking pass may indicate that you have a specific spot (e.g. Lot Z Row 4 Space 58) a Platinum Pass should allow you to park in any of the Platinum lots and a Gold Pass should allow you to park in any of the Gold lots. To that end, I’m asking everyone with a Gold Pass to park in Lot L in the area I’ve circled red in the map attached. Gathering further away from the stadium should give us the ability to have folks park their cars next to one another to form a Chiefs Cluster without too much stress (we did the same thing for the Chiefs/WFT in 2021 and it worked great). I currently have the following Chiefs heroes offering to help make this happen with their Gold Passes:

Brittany
HL Bishop
Jackson Weems
Jason Risola
Jay Bhargava
Kathleen Malarkey
Mital Patel
Stephanie Bolstridge
A separate email chain will be started with the above individuals (and additional Gold Pass holders we find between now and Sunday) to coordinate where and when our drivers will be getting there, I’ll update the rest of you with the details on that later this weekend.

Start Time:

MetLife’s parking lot opens five hours before the start of the game (so 3:20 P.M. this Sunday). I’m not sure when our first few drivers are planning on getting out there (again, I’ll hopefully have that information to share with all of you before Sunday), but it should be everyone’s goal to get out to MetLife’s parking lot earlier in the day instead of thirty minutes before kickoff. This is a #StrengthInNumbers kind of thing, so please come and help our drivers hold down their real estate as soon as you (reasonably) can.

Transportation to the Stadium:

There’s no easier way to get to MetLife Stadium than the NJ Transit system. For those who want to travel out to the stadium together, it looks like there’s a 4:00 P.M. that leaves from Penn Station and gets to the parking lot in a little over half an hour which is how I’ll be getting out there. A round-trip ticket from Penn costs $11.00 and it looks like there’s an additional $5.00 charge if you wait to make your purchase after boarding the train, so if you wanna go this route then make sure to download the NJ TRANSIT Mobile App where you can easily buy your tickets ahead of time (although those with phones with bad batteries may want to opt to grab a physical ticket at the station, just in case).

What to Bring:

Before anything else I’d like to ask that you please bring a positive attitude with you to the tailgate. This isn’t a place to pick a fight with a Jets fan, you shouldn’t show up planning on getting into a heated political debate with a stranger, and a friendly tailgate is not the place for you to take out whatever is going Hi
