Based off what he was paid and the position he played that is a huge issue. He was paid like an elite DE but would vanish in games. He didn’t commit penalties because he was the non-factor that you identified him as. He had zero impact outside of the playoffs despite being paid at a game changer level.

I think Taylor will look like an entirely different player next season. He got called out week 1 and has been targeted ever since.

I hope an entire offseason fixes him. I think the biggest issue with Taylor this year was him getting called for what he’s always done. That’s thrown him off and he can’t seem to recover in game or in season. Next year will be the year where we can better judge him.

Or he could be looking into the future and realizing they can’t afford signing Taylor to a huge contract knowing that Josh Allen (their JA) is having a career year and will be a huge priority to sign as will Lawrence.
