Mahomes and Kelce are about to cement Chiefs legacy

Mahomes is tied with Lenny for most TD passes in Chiefs history and Kelce is tied with Tony Gonzalez for most TD catches in Chiefs history.

Both about to be broken.

Best duo in Chiefs history

I wonder if they are thinking about this and will work to make it so.

On one hand, it would be a rad footnote in Chiefs and NFL history for these two buddies.

On the other hand, you gotta make best the play that scores the TD when you have the opportunity.

On the other other hand, two buddies....

This is going to result in some epic radio and player graphics if it happens.

I'm already brainstorming some weird shit with Dawson looking down from heaven smiling at Mahomes.

I was expecting something more like Dawson and Gonzales leaning out from the window of Dog Force One with laser eyes blowing up the Death Star and dropping two solid gold jockstraps down on tiny parachutes into the waiting arms of Mahomes and Kelce wearing rebel robes.

Travis. He's the old guy. Plus Mahomes will have a ton more records of stuff after Travis retires in a year or two.
