My Take

It seems to me that the Chiefs want to play players because of their draft status, how long they have been in the league, and if they started last year. That kind of thinking is stupid and idiotic!!!! Jared Allen is clearly the best player at his position. Richard Smith would be a very good wr if they would have put the time in to making him that instead of hoping Johnny Morten would come back. I noticed that in a preseason game When Sammy Parker was healthy Richard was on the bench. Play the the player who is performing and then let the chips fall where they may. Saivii should be getting more pt cause he is getting it done when he is in the line up. Watching what is going on right now is really pissing me off we are better than what we are showing play the young kids and undrafted kids and then let the chips fall where they may. Couldn't do much worse than what we are doing now. Also the d needs to make plays!!! For the most part they are in position to make plays but they don't. MISSED TACKLES! Break down and get in a football position and make a play it is not that hard damn. If they have to spend time teaching tackling that is what needs to be done cause scheme don't mean sh*t if you can't tackle.

Missed tackles are an epidemic with this team. I hope Gun kicks some ass this week. I think they should spend a couple hours everyday learning how to wrap up below the damn waist.

VARSITY
We must have been watching different games. I like Allen, but he didn't show me anything today that makes me think he should be starting.

Of course, neither did Hicks, so I guess it's a wash.

A defensive ends job is to keep outside contain and turn the back back inside so the linebackers can make the play. I saw several plays where he did that and on pass plays he was always in the qbs face. If you really noticed he started in the second half of the game. He will be like Fujita give him the playing time and he will get the job done!!!
