The following trades have effected the draft order:

Corey Williams to Cleveland for a R2 pick.

Shaun Rogers to Cleveland for a R3 pick.

Kris Jenkins to the Jets for a R3 pick.

Marcus Stroud to the Bills for a R3 pick.

Redskins to Broncos. The Washington Redskins traded their fourth-round selection in 2008, and their third-round selection in 2007 (used to select Ryan Harris) to the Denver Broncos as part of a three-team trade in which Washington received T.J. Duckett and Atlanta received Ashley Lelie. (This was the result of a formula which could have had Denver and Washington swapping 2007 first-round selections.)

Saints to Jets. The Saints traded their fourth-round selection in 2008 to the Jets, for Jonathan Vilma.

Jets to Panthers. The New York Jets traded their third-round and fifth-round selections to the Carolina Panthers in a deal that sent Kris Jenkins to New York.

Dolphins to Chiefs. Miami (conditionally) traded its fifth-round selection in 2008 to the Kansas City Chiefs in exchange for Trent Green. The selection would have become a fourth-round selection if Green had met certain performance criteria.

Bears to Bills. Chicago (conditionally) traded their fifth-round selection in 2008 to Buffalo in exchange for Darwin Walker. The round of the selection may change, depending on Walker's playing time.

Panthers to Bears. The Carolina Panthers traded their fifth-round selection in 2008 to Chicago in exchange for Chris Harris.

Raiders to Broncos. Oakland (conditionally) traded their fifth-round selection in 2008 to Denver in exchange for Gerard Warren.

Bills to Jaguars The Buffalo Bills traded a 3rd and 5th round selection to the Jacksonville Jaguars in return for DT Marcus Stroud.

Seahawks to Browns. The Seattle Seahawks traded their sixth-round selection in 2008 to Cleveland in exchange for Charlie Frye.[24]

Packers to Giants. The Green Bay Packers traded their sixth-round selection in 2008 to the New York Giants in exchange for running back Ryan Grant.

Broncos to Rams. Denver traded their sixth-round selection in 2008 to the St. Louis Rams for defensive tackle Jimmy Kennedy.[26] The trade occurred after the Broncos had tried to trade the same pick to Miami for defensive tackle Dan Wilkinson; that trade was voided.

Browns to Eagles. Cleveland traded their sixth-round selection in 2008 to Philadelphia for center Hank Fraley. The trade was conditional on games started by Fraley, and could have fallen to a seventh-round pick, but Fraley started all 16 games.

Cowboys/Dolphins swap. The teams swapped their sixth-round selections in a trade involving Jason Ferguson.

Jaguars to Vikings. Jacksonville traded their sixth-round selection for Troy Williamson.

Texans to Broncos. Houston traded their sixth-round pick for Chris Myers.

Steelers to Falcons. The Pittsburgh Steelers traded their seventh-round selection in 2008 to Atlanta for kick/punt returner Allen Rossum.

Seahawks to Eagles. Seattle traded their seventh-round selection in 2008 to Philadelphia for fullback Josh Parry.

Eagles to Bills. Philadelphia traded their seventh-round selection in 2008, and defensive tackle Darwin Walker, to Buffalo for linebacker Takeo Spikes and quarterback Kelly Holcomb.

Rams to Vikings. St. Louis traded their seventh-round selection in 2008 to Minnesota for offensive tackle Adam Goldberg.

Giants to Chiefs. The New York Giants traded their seventh-round selection in 2008 to Kansas City for kicker Lawrence Tynes.

Vikings to Jets. Minnesota traded their seventh-round pick in 2008 to the Jets in exchange for Brooks Bollinger.

Bengals to Rams. Cincinnati traded their seventh-round pick in 2008 to St. Louis in exchange for Ryan Fitzpatrick.

When making your selection, please list the player's name, his position and the school he played for. Not everyone has the same level of knowledge about prospects, and this information will help people who want to research these players further.

Also, if you would, please tell us your reasoning for selecting the player you did. It doesn't have to be a novel, just give some insight on your thought process.

Let's have some fun.

If I had to pick between the 2 give me Albert. Even if the move to tackle flops atleast you still have one of the best guard prospect in years. I have no confidence in Clady.

If I'm forced to choose between those two, and those two only, then I feel the same way.

The Jets, with their final pick at 208 select DE Titus Brown, Miss. St.

He'll be moved to an OLB position in the Jets 3-4.

The Buccaneers need to build some depth on their DL, particularly in the middle; when you have to give Ryan Sims minutes in the rotation, you know you're shallow at DT.

So the Bucs eyeball two players in particular: Florida State's Letroy Guion, a seemingly powerful run-stuffer who is a boom-or-bust prospect, and shiftier 3-tech Carlton Powell from Virginia Tech. Both are promising prospects whose Draft stock fell hard after disappointing trips to the combine. Guion ran a sluggish 5.4, and only posted 26 reps, whereas Powell ran a more impressive 5.0, and posted 23.

The Bucs liked both players way early, and still have a sliver of hope either could produce. At this point they'd be competing against Ryan Sims anyway. Sims is a disappointing 1-tech, and the player most suited to replace him would be Guion, who flourished at Florida State as OLs focused all their attention to Andre Fluellen who always attracted all the attention. There's a bust potential there. Powell is somewhat enticing, but his complete lack of strength at 290 lbs. is very troubling.

Who has higher upside? At this point, Guion. He's bigger and stronger at the point of attack. He is still a spooky-good athlete, but his utter rawness will need the Bucs' superior DL coaching. With Guion, the Bucs get a big body that has the potential to be a solid rotation guy, but also poses the potential to tank hard. With they're sixth and final pick in the seventh round, they'll take the chance.

With the 209th pick of the NFL Draft, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers select DT Letroy Guion of Florida State University.

That's a rap for both my teams. Thoughts about the Bucs' Draft welcome.

210. Taylor Melhalf PK Wisconsin - Kicker in bad condition big leg could be picked earlier.
239. Darell Strong TE Pittsburgh - Big TE to maybe take place of Dunn
what you guys think?
I'm bored....so I'll do my own with Minnesota's 1st and early 3rd round picks.
I don't see why New Orleans would trade.....so I won't be doing that one.

1a. Sedrick Ellis DT USC
1b. Keith Rivers OLB USC - He's still there....and there really isn't an OT worth it at that point. So I'm taking him. DJ and Rivers should solidify our OLB for the next 5-6 years.
2. Quentin Groves DE Auburn
3a. Carl Nicks OT Nebraska - He fell in this draft....so I'm taking him.
3b. Donnie Avery WR Houston
4. Eric Young OG Tennessee
5a. Dwight Lowery CB SJ State
5b. Craig Stevens TE Cal
6a. Brian Johnston DE Gardner Webb
6b. Adrian Arrington WR Michigan
7a. Taylor Melhaff K Wisconsin
7b. Jonathan Zenon CB LSU

I've got a little more energy now.

10. Branden Albert OG/OT virginia - worse case plays OG if he can be OT even better

I still don't like Albert in the first round if I'm the Chiefs.

17. Derrick Harvey DE Florida - OUr replacement for allen

Would probably be one of the best two picks available at #17, including Chris Williams.

35. Reggie Smith CB OkLahoma - Replacement for Law

I seriously doubt he falls this far, but if he does it's a slam dunk.

40. Andre Caldwell WR Florida - Speed compliment to Bowe KR/PR

I don't like Caldwell this soon. He seems to be everybody's favorite third-rounder but Florida receivers don't translate to the NFL well. Here you've drafted him in the second, which I think's a lousy idea.

66. Mike Pollack C ASU - starter for years to come

In the 4th, you can't really argue with this. In the third, it's debatable.

73. Anthony Collins OT KU - Big intimidating rt or lt

Late third round, this is fair value and a pretty good pick.

105. Beau Bell ILB UNLV- Intimidator and leader to lead this speedy lb core

I still like Bell, especially in the 4th.

136. Drew Radovich OG Usc - Solid guard played for a top team top competition

This is another fair pick that I couldn't argue with too much.

140. Owen Schmidt FB WVU - Lead blocker for Larry Johnson he won't be touched

I despise drafting Schmidt for the Chiefs this season. They have signed three FBs who will all duke it out, and FB isn't a big position in the Gailey offense anyway. Now, if you invested this pick in a RB, I'd be much happier.

170. Brian Johnston DE Gardner-webber - Jared Allen clone DE rotation

This is the 6th round, right? Not a bad pick. We'll need depth at the position anyway.

187. Colt Brennan QB Hawaii - QB of the future? with some coaching could be good

Despise this pick. We already have a late rounder that could serve as a potential backup, and Damon Huard. We can't be Drafting QBs that need lots of coaching, and Brennan will need the most coaching of the bunch.

210. Taylor Melhalf PK Wisconsin - Kicker in bad condition big leg could be picked earlier.

I've been trumpeting this pick since the offseason began, but he won't be available in the 7th. I'm entirely sure the Broncos will Draft him way too early, in the 5th or even the 4th.

239. Darell Strong TE Pittsburgh - Big TE to maybe take place of Dunn

Eh, it's our last pick so I can't complain. Decent pick.

All in all, I'd give it a low C-.

1a. Sedrick Ellis DT USC

This is my ideal pick. Ryan would probably be my second. Then Dorsey/Long/Long/Gholston.

1b. Keith Rivers OLB USC - He's still there....and there really isn't an OT worth it at that point.

I disagree -- I think there's two OTs worth it at this point, maybe three if you honestly think Albert has a shot.

Rivers would be a brilliant pick at #17 but he won't be there.

2. Quentin Groves DE Auburn

This is Mecca's wishful thinking, and mine as well. I don't think Groves makes it this far.

3a. Carl Nicks OT Nebraska - He fell in this draft....so I'm taking him.

He won't make it past the first 40 picks.

3b. Donnie Avery WR Houston

I think this may be too premature for Avery, but I don't think I'd complain. I love the guy.

4. Eric Young OG Tennessee

Hell, I'd take him in the third. If he falls this far, go for it.

5a. Dwight Lowery CB SJ State

I picked this guy in my own mock -- I think this may be too soon for him, but I don't think it'd be a bad idea.

5b. Craig Stevens TE Cal

The obvious pick and the right one.

6a. Brian Johnston DE Gardner Webb

From the sounds of everybody here, he may not make it this far. He might be gone in the third? Doesn't sound right to me, but he'd be a great pick in the 6th if he was still around.

6b. Adrian Arrington WR Michigan

Another good pick. This guy is a red zone threat in the making, but he needs to add a lot of weight.

7a. Taylor Melhaff K Wisconsin

Not going to make it this far, period. But you guys know how I feel about him.

7b. Jonathan Zenon CB LSU

It's impossible to complain about a guy with his experience in the 7th. I think he only has limited upside, but it's worth exploring this late.

If this actually did play out, I'd give it a straight-up A+.

But too many of your picks are based on the idea that guys will far that far, so I'm down-grading it to a B+.

That's fair.

And there are a lot of stupid picks on draft day, so it's possible. I don't mind wishful thinking, but it's overflowing in your mock.

St. Louis Rams - B- (BigChiefFan)

1. DT Glenn Dorsey
2. OT Sam Baker
3. WR Andre Caldwell
4. C Mike Pollack
5. OT Kirk Barton
6. DB Michael Grant
6. MLB Jeremy Leman
7. OLB Steve Octavian

Overall this was a Draft that will not please a lot of Rams fans who don't understand how football works. Teams win and lose in the trenches, not necessarily in the high-flying daring acts out in the endzone. The Rams have all the positional talent on their potent offense -- what they didn't have was an offensive line. After the Dorsey pick, the Rams picked up one of the best pure LTs, the best center, and a solid tackle prospect who'll probably do best at guard. That's a great influx of talent for the trenches.

What the Rams needed even moreso, however, was defense. The Rams can't stop anybody, and while Dorsey helps out Carriker in the middle, their DT corps isn't the problem anymore: everything else is. Their secondary is a joke, their linebacker corps is starving, and they have virtually nobody to rush the passer. Leman in the 6th and Grant in the 5th are solid picks, but they're not going to rejuvenate the weakest side of the ball. No help was brought in at DE. I don't feel like BCF's picks were bad, but I wouldn't have made them.

New Orleans Saints - A (OnTheWarpath58)

1. CB Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie
2. DT Pat Sims
3. TE Dustin Keller
5. WR/KR Dexter Jackson
6. C Kory Lichtensteiger
7. SS Jamie Silva

The Saints are a flashy and flair-tastic team, but what they lack, and what brutalized them throughout all of 2007 was their complete lack of toughness. With all the talent positions virtually in place, this was a team that needed to bring in some mental toughness, some people who can bring pain rather than just execute the play, and some brute physical strength.

The Saints' Draft reflects that mentality. DRC and Pat Sims are two strong efforts to upgrade their poor defense. Now they've got a CB who's more athletic than most of the WRs he'll be guarding, and a 2-tech that's harder to move off his spot than a California redwood. I loved Lichtensteiger as a late-round big ugly, and Silva in the 7th was an intelligent steal. The Saints are tougher than they were before. Add in a little flair with Keller and Jackson and you have yourself one of the best Drafts in the mock.

Denver Broncos - C+ (ct/Sfeich)

1. FS Kenny Philips
2. OT Anthony Collins
4. DT DeMario Pressley
4. RB Kevin Smith
5. MLB Vince Hall
5. WR Adrian Arrington
6. K Taylor Mehlhaff
7. DT Frank Morton

I'm not sure why the Broncos don't trust themselves more often. They typically have a solid influx of rookies and last year they took a large leap to rebuilding their ailing DL by actually Drafting it. But they continue to worry and pick up free agents -- if only they'd follow this mock. Pressley would be a great addition for their middle, and I have zero confidence in Morton but at least they're keeping their wheels moving.

The Broncos' "second day" was a hell of a lot better than their dismal, potentially-worst-in-the-league first. They acquired the best K for their biggest hole on their roster at the bargain-price of a 6th, and Smith and Arrington continue to add to the blanket of talent surrounding Cutler as he develops. The Broncos didn't make up for their first day (how could you?), but they managed to finish their Draft off strong.

The Washington Redskins select DT, from West Virginia, Keilen Dykes.

Dykes is known for his work ethic and strength. He was one of the captains of his team that ranked 7th in the country on the defensive side of the ball.
