The following trades have effected the draft order:

Corey Williams to Cleveland for a R2 pick.

Shaun Rogers to Cleveland for a R3 pick.

Kris Jenkins to the Jets for a R3 pick.

Marcus Stroud to the Bills for a R3 pick.

Redskins to Broncos. The Washington Redskins traded their fourth-round selection in 2008, and their third-round selection in 2007 (used to select Ryan Harris) to the Denver Broncos as part of a three-team trade in which Washington received T.J. Duckett and Atlanta received Ashley Lelie. (This was the result of a formula which could have had Denver and Washington swapping 2007 first-round selections.)

Saints to Jets. The Saints traded their fourth-round selection in 2008 to the Jets, for Jonathan Vilma.

Jets to Panthers. The New York Jets traded their third-round and fifth-round selections to the Carolina Panthers in a deal that sent Kris Jenkins to New York.

Dolphins to Chiefs. Miami (conditionally) traded its fifth-round selection in 2008 to the Kansas City Chiefs in exchange for Trent Green. The selection would have become a fourth-round selection if Green had met certain performance criteria.

Bears to Bills. Chicago (conditionally) traded their fifth-round selection in 2008 to Buffalo in exchange for Darwin Walker. The round of the selection may change, depending on Walker's playing time.

Panthers to Bears. The Carolina Panthers traded their fifth-round selection in 2008 to Chicago in exchange for Chris Harris.

Raiders to Broncos. Oakland (conditionally) traded their fifth-round selection in 2008 to Denver in exchange for Gerard Warren.

Bills to Jaguars The Buffalo Bills traded a 3rd and 5th round selection to the Jacksonville Jaguars in return for DT Marcus Stroud.

Seahawks to Browns. The Seattle Seahawks traded their sixth-round selection in 2008 to Cleveland in exchange for Charlie Frye.[24]

Packers to Giants. The Green Bay Packers traded their sixth-round selection in 2008 to the New York Giants in exchange for running back Ryan Grant.

Broncos to Rams. Denver traded their sixth-round selection in 2008 to the St. Louis Rams for defensive tackle Jimmy Kennedy.[26] The trade occurred after the Broncos had tried to trade the same pick to Miami for defensive tackle Dan Wilkinson; that trade was voided.

Browns to Eagles. Cleveland traded their sixth-round selection in 2008 to Philadelphia for center Hank Fraley. The trade was conditional on games started by Fraley, and could have fallen to a seventh-round pick, but Fraley started all 16 games.

Cowboys/Dolphins swap. The teams swapped their sixth-round selections in a trade involving Jason Ferguson.

Jaguars to Vikings. Jacksonville traded their sixth-round selection for Troy Williamson.

Texans to Broncos. Houston traded their sixth-round pick for Chris Myers.

Steelers to Falcons. The Pittsburgh Steelers traded their seventh-round selection in 2008 to Atlanta for kick/punt returner Allen Rossum.

Seahawks to Eagles. Seattle traded their seventh-round selection in 2008 to Philadelphia for fullback Josh Parry.

Eagles to Bills. Philadelphia traded their seventh-round selection in 2008, and defensive tackle Darwin Walker, to Buffalo for linebacker Takeo Spikes and quarterback Kelly Holcomb.

Rams to Vikings. St. Louis traded their seventh-round selection in 2008 to Minnesota for offensive tackle Adam Goldberg.

Giants to Chiefs. The New York Giants traded their seventh-round selection in 2008 to Kansas City for kicker Lawrence Tynes.

Vikings to Jets. Minnesota traded their seventh-round pick in 2008 to the Jets in exchange for Brooks Bollinger.

Bengals to Rams. Cincinnati traded their seventh-round pick in 2008 to St. Louis in exchange for Ryan Fitzpatrick.

I don't buy into the philosophy of drafting QB in the late rounds with the expectation that they could start. To me, 6th round and beyond, you're looking for a backup.

If you were serious about finding a QB, I would have done it significantly earlier. But that's me.

Remember, though, I came into the Jets draft late, so I was looking at 4th round prospects or later.

I took the guy that I thought was the best value in the round I took him in.

I didn't like the value in round 4, and didn't have a 5th round pick.

Right, and drafting straight-value works, but I don't believe that O'Connell was head-and-shoulders above everybody else, which he'd have to be for you to draft a position that's not a serious concern.

We have a difference of opinion.

Just look at the QBs from San Diego.

You like Josh Johnson more than O'Connell, and a hell of a lot more than I do.

I like O'Connell more than Josh Johnson.

I think O'Connell can be a good NFL QB with good coaching.

Josh Johnson, not so much.

I like O'Connell. A hell of a lot more than I do Brennan or Flynn.

But yeah, I'm high on Josh Johnson. I think the kid's a diamond in the rough, a true boom or bust prospect who has the ability to become great.

I appologize. I had bullshit come up all day today. It's the 2nd to last pick in the draft, so I'm taking a guy I'm personally familiar with, and someone who I think is going to play in the NFL, even though he'll probably go undrafted.

With the 220th pick in the draft, The New England Patriots select Marcel Reece WR Washington

I'm also doing my best to make sure my beloved Huskies don't go an entire draft without 1 player drafted.

I took the guy that I thought was the best value in the round I took him in.

I didn't like the value in round 4, and didn't have a 5th round pick.

Yeah, I thought about QB in the second, and would have snatched Brohm if he had fallen, but Thomas had too much value to me in the second( BTW, I was going to take Groves, but Mecca took him 1 pick ahead of the J-E-T-S

) And I thought it was too high for the remaining QBs.

Anyway, good job on the rest of the draft. I'm impatiently waiting for Saturday to get here.

I wonder what grade you will give the Chiefs draft Direckshun? A C would be generous in my opinion. I like the Ellis pick better now that Jake Long is off the board, and we have traded Allen, but at the time, Jake Long was the best choice IMHO. Not addressing the Oline until the fifth round is what put our line in the mess it is in now. That alone is why this draft sucks balls. A OT in the fifth and a OG in the seventh??? I agree with BPA, but to totally ignore our greatest area of need is asinine. I would be interested to see this mock again with the Jared Allen trade and Jake Long signing factored in. Too bad there is just not enough time.

To me, 6th round and beyond, you're looking for a backup. If you were serious about finding a QB, I would have done it significantly earlier. But that's me.

I like the Ellis pick better now that Jake Long is off the board, and we have traded Allen, but at the time, Jake Long was the best choice IMHO. Not addressing the Oline until the fifth round is what put our line in the mess it is in now. That alone is why this draft sucks balls. A OT in the fifth and a OG in the seventh??? I agree with BPA, but to totally ignore our greatest area of need is asinine. I would be interested to see this mock again with the Jared Allen trade and Jake Long signing factored in.
