The following trades have effected the draft order:

Corey Williams to Cleveland for a R2 pick.

Shaun Rogers to Cleveland for a R3 pick.

Kris Jenkins to the Jets for a R3 pick.

Marcus Stroud to the Bills for a R3 pick.

Redskins to Broncos. The Washington Redskins traded their fourth-round selection in 2008, and their third-round selection in 2007 (used to select Ryan Harris) to the Denver Broncos as part of a three-team trade in which Washington received T.J. Duckett and Atlanta received Ashley Lelie. (This was the result of a formula which could have had Denver and Washington swapping 2007 first-round selections.)

Saints to Jets. The Saints traded their fourth-round selection in 2008 to the Jets, for Jonathan Vilma.

Jets to Panthers. The New York Jets traded their third-round and fifth-round selections to the Carolina Panthers in a deal that sent Kris Jenkins to New York.

Dolphins to Chiefs. Miami (conditionally) traded its fifth-round selection in 2008 to the Kansas City Chiefs in exchange for Trent Green. The selection would have become a fourth-round selection if Green had met certain performance criteria.

Bears to Bills. Chicago (conditionally) traded their fifth-round selection in 2008 to Buffalo in exchange for Darwin Walker. The round of the selection may change, depending on Walker's playing time.

Panthers to Bears. The Carolina Panthers traded their fifth-round selection in 2008 to Chicago in exchange for Chris Harris.

Raiders to Broncos. Oakland (conditionally) traded their fifth-round selection in 2008 to Denver in exchange for Gerard Warren.

Bills to Jaguars The Buffalo Bills traded a 3rd and 5th round selection to the Jacksonville Jaguars in return for DT Marcus Stroud.

Seahawks to Browns. The Seattle Seahawks traded their sixth-round selection in 2008 to Cleveland in exchange for Charlie Frye.[24]

Packers to Giants. The Green Bay Packers traded their sixth-round selection in 2008 to the New York Giants in exchange for running back Ryan Grant.

Broncos to Rams. Denver traded their sixth-round selection in 2008 to the St. Louis Rams for defensive tackle Jimmy Kennedy.[26] The trade occurred after the Broncos had tried to trade the same pick to Miami for defensive tackle Dan Wilkinson; that trade was voided.

Browns to Eagles. Cleveland traded their sixth-round selection in 2008 to Philadelphia for center Hank Fraley. The trade was conditional on games started by Fraley, and could have fallen to a seventh-round pick, but Fraley started all 16 games.

Cowboys/Dolphins swap. The teams swapped their sixth-round selections in a trade involving Jason Ferguson.

Jaguars to Vikings. Jacksonville traded their sixth-round selection for Troy Williamson.

Texans to Broncos. Houston traded their sixth-round pick for Chris Myers.

Steelers to Falcons. The Pittsburgh Steelers traded their seventh-round selection in 2008 to Atlanta for kick/punt returner Allen Rossum.

Seahawks to Eagles. Seattle traded their seventh-round selection in 2008 to Philadelphia for fullback Josh Parry.

Eagles to Bills. Philadelphia traded their seventh-round selection in 2008, and defensive tackle Darwin Walker, to Buffalo for linebacker Takeo Spikes and quarterback Kelly Holcomb.

Rams to Vikings. St. Louis traded their seventh-round selection in 2008 to Minnesota for offensive tackle Adam Goldberg.

Giants to Chiefs. The New York Giants traded their seventh-round selection in 2008 to Kansas City for kicker Lawrence Tynes.

Vikings to Jets. Minnesota traded their seventh-round pick in 2008 to the Jets in exchange for Brooks Bollinger.

Bengals to Rams. Cincinnati traded their seventh-round pick in 2008 to St. Louis in exchange for Ryan Fitzpatrick.

Well the Rams and Dolphins took the best lineman off my hands. Again the Raiders for the second time in this draft stay true to the board and go BPA, they take Kentwan Balmer, DT North Carolina. Raiders now have the building blocks for the future of their defensive line in Chris Long and Kentwan Balmer.

Chiefs are now on the clock, I have a feeling it will be Brandon Flowers. Mecca your turn.

Yeah I don't like Long and Balmer on the same line for the Fade.

I personally think this pick is a no brainer...the Chiefs once again play a cover 2 defense with a defensive minded head coach...You can never have to many pass rushers and playing to the depth of this draft...

With the 35th pick in the draft the Chiefs select......Quentin Groves, DE, Auburn

Now some people may wonder about this pick. To me this is an easy pick. Groves brings ridiculous athletic skills to this position. He's run 40's under 4.6, he has experience at both LB and DE. He is somewhat like Vernon Gholston with the versatility he brings and things he can do.

In a cover 2, especially in pass situations a player with Groves speed and athletic skills can be a true menace off the edge.

This guy brings true explosion speed and athleticism to his position everything you want in the kind of defense the Chiefs want to run. Groves is the kind of end the Colts defense is built on, basically a perfect fit here and now we have 3 ends and can take advantage of the versatility of Hali to move inside and Groves to even play some stand up OLB.

With this pick everyone should jump for joy because Groves is a legit first round talent that can be a 12+ sack guy every season.

Groves is a first round talent in the gym, that's for sure. He hasn't played like it on the field.

He's still way to talented to not take there, you'll never find a DE/LB that has more pure athletic talent and range/speed, especially in this defense.

I think he can be a Robert Mathis type, maybe even a John Abraham type when he was you know good.

He wasn't healthy for a lot of the year. He absolutely wreaked havoc whenever Florida played Auburn. Playmakers come from the SEC and Chiefs don't have many of either.

Again the Raiders for the second time in this draft stay true to the board and go BPA, they take Kentwan Balmer, DT North Carolina. Raiders now have the building blocks for the future of their defensive line in Chris Long and Kentwan Balmer. Chiefs are now on the clock, I have a feeling it will be Brandon Flowers. With the 35th pick in the draft the Chiefs select......Quentin Groves, DE, Auburn Now some people may wonder about this pick. To me this is an easy pick. Groves brings ridiculous athletic skills to this position. He's run 40's under 4.6, he has experience at both LB and DE. He is somewhat like Vernon Gholston with the versatility he brings and things he can do. In a cover 2, especially in pass situations a player with Groves speed and athletic skills can be a true menace off the edge. This guy brings true explosion speed and athleticism to his position everything you want in the kind of defense the Chiefs want to run. Groves is the kind of end the Colts defense is built on, basically a perfect fit here and now we have 3 ends and can take advantage of the versatility of Hali to move inside and Groves to even play some stand up OLB. With this pick everyone should jump for joy because Groves is a legit first round talent that can be a 12+ sack guy every season.
