The following trades have effected the draft order:

Corey Williams to Cleveland for a R2 pick.

Shaun Rogers to Cleveland for a R3 pick.

Kris Jenkins to the Jets for a R3 pick.

Marcus Stroud to the Bills for a R3 pick.

Redskins to Broncos. The Washington Redskins traded their fourth-round selection in 2008, and their third-round selection in 2007 (used to select Ryan Harris) to the Denver Broncos as part of a three-team trade in which Washington received T.J. Duckett and Atlanta received Ashley Lelie. (This was the result of a formula which could have had Denver and Washington swapping 2007 first-round selections.)

Saints to Jets. The Saints traded their fourth-round selection in 2008 to the Jets, for Jonathan Vilma.

Jets to Panthers. The New York Jets traded their third-round and fifth-round selections to the Carolina Panthers in a deal that sent Kris Jenkins to New York.

Dolphins to Chiefs. Miami (conditionally) traded its fifth-round selection in 2008 to the Kansas City Chiefs in exchange for Trent Green. The selection would have become a fourth-round selection if Green had met certain performance criteria.

Bears to Bills. Chicago (conditionally) traded their fifth-round selection in 2008 to Buffalo in exchange for Darwin Walker. The round of the selection may change, depending on Walker's playing time.

Panthers to Bears. The Carolina Panthers traded their fifth-round selection in 2008 to Chicago in exchange for Chris Harris.

Raiders to Broncos. Oakland (conditionally) traded their fifth-round selection in 2008 to Denver in exchange for Gerard Warren.

Bills to Jaguars The Buffalo Bills traded a 3rd and 5th round selection to the Jacksonville Jaguars in return for DT Marcus Stroud.

Seahawks to Browns. The Seattle Seahawks traded their sixth-round selection in 2008 to Cleveland in exchange for Charlie Frye.[24]

Packers to Giants. The Green Bay Packers traded their sixth-round selection in 2008 to the New York Giants in exchange for running back Ryan Grant.

Broncos to Rams. Denver traded their sixth-round selection in 2008 to the St. Louis Rams for defensive tackle Jimmy Kennedy.[26] The trade occurred after the Broncos had tried to trade the same pick to Miami for defensive tackle Dan Wilkinson; that trade was voided.

Browns to Eagles. Cleveland traded their sixth-round selection in 2008 to Philadelphia for center Hank Fraley. The trade was conditional on games started by Fraley, and could have fallen to a seventh-round pick, but Fraley started all 16 games.

Cowboys/Dolphins swap. The teams swapped their sixth-round selections in a trade involving Jason Ferguson.

Jaguars to Vikings. Jacksonville traded their sixth-round selection for Troy Williamson.

Texans to Broncos. Houston traded their sixth-round pick for Chris Myers.

Steelers to Falcons. The Pittsburgh Steelers traded their seventh-round selection in 2008 to Atlanta for kick/punt returner Allen Rossum.

Seahawks to Eagles. Seattle traded their seventh-round selection in 2008 to Philadelphia for fullback Josh Parry.

Eagles to Bills. Philadelphia traded their seventh-round selection in 2008, and defensive tackle Darwin Walker, to Buffalo for linebacker Takeo Spikes and quarterback Kelly Holcomb.

Rams to Vikings. St. Louis traded their seventh-round selection in 2008 to Minnesota for offensive tackle Adam Goldberg.

Giants to Chiefs. The New York Giants traded their seventh-round selection in 2008 to Kansas City for kicker Lawrence Tynes.

Vikings to Jets. Minnesota traded their seventh-round pick in 2008 to the Jets in exchange for Brooks Bollinger.

Bengals to Rams. Cincinnati traded their seventh-round pick in 2008 to St. Louis in exchange for Ryan Fitzpatrick.

Sorry Chip - I just got home, too many free beers? I am interested in keeping my spot, I am just getting back in under the wire and I promise none of CP will have to wait on me for 23 hours again.

I don't know if it will pass Mecca's standards, but Green bay has a viable option at QB and their offense wasn't their biggest weakness, they have several more needs on D. They addressed that need with round one, and with some great talent still on the board they would right now with this pick take;

OLB Ali Highsmith from LSU.....

I think OLB was the right choice, and Ali Highsmith is a fair selection. I would have opted for Erin Henderson, who I think is the superior linebacker but Highsmith doesn't have Henderson's injury history, so I think it's a fair pick.

My pick, again, would have been Erin Henderson, he's the best player remaining on my board and he would have filled a position on need. I do think there's a fair chance the Packers take a QB in the middle-to-late rounds this year to shore up some depth, but if they saw something in Chad Henne that I haven't seen, they might jump several needs and opt with him. But considering Green Bay's outstanding QB coaching, I'm willing to guess they'd gamble on Josh Johnson in a midround.

1. DE/OLB Shawn Crable
2. OLB Erin Henderson
3. QB Chad Henne
4. OT Tony Hills
5. RB Jamaal Charles

That said, I see the Dolphins picking a couple players that would be good value for them who aren't even on my useless list. Beau Bell has a lot of potential at ILB, they could opt for Justin King to fill their CB need (this would be a lousy pick IMO), and of course it's never too soon to reach for NT Red Bryant, because Ferguson isn't going to be around when the Dolphins become talented.

Honestly, I've been hoping that this guy would still be on the board for the last 15 picks.

I think that he's a better long term prospect than Quentin Groves, and he is well praised for his intangibles. He has very good speed, a great motor, and was an impact player in a big conference.

Also a good pick. He's a bit lower on my board but I think you've got to pin OLB and NT down more than anything on a 3-4 defense.

Obviously, since I've been blowing the guy for the entire second round, I would have gone Crable, but Avril would be a fair pick, albeit a little premature for my tastes.

That said, I see the Dolphins picking a couple players that would be good value for them who aren't even on my useless list. Beau Bell has a lot of potential at ILB, they could opt for Justin King to fill their CB need (this would be a lousy pick IMO), and of course it's never too soon to reach for NT Red Bryant, because Ferguson isn't going to be around when the Dolphins become talented.

That's who I would have taken for Green Bay.

I don't know if it will pass Mecca's standards, but Green bay has a viable option at QB and their offense wasn't their biggest weakness, they have several more needs on D. They addressed that need with round one, and with some great talent still on the board they would right now with this pick take; OLB Ali Highsmith from LSU.....

I would have opted for Erin Henderson, who I think is the superior linebacker but Highsmith doesn't have Henderson's injury history, so I think it's a fair pick. My pick, again, would have been Erin Henderson, he's the best player remaining on my board and he would have filled a position on need. I do think there's a fair chance the Packers take a QB in the middle-to-late rounds this year to shore up some depth, but if they saw something in Chad Henne that I haven't seen, they might jump several needs and opt with him. But considering Green Bay's outstanding QB coaching, I'm willing to guess they'd gamble on Josh Johnson in a midround.

OT Tony Hills 5. RB Jamaal Charles That said, I see the Dolphins picking a couple players that would be good value for them who aren't even on my useless list. Beau Bell has a lot of potential at ILB, they could opt for Justin King to fill their CB need (this would be a lousy pick IMO), and of course it's never too soon to reach for NT Red Bryant, because Ferguson isn't going to be around when the Dolphins become talented. I think that he's a better long term prospect than Quentin Groves, and he is well praised for his intangibles. He has very good speed, a great motor, and was an impact player in a big conference. Reggie Torbor and Charlie Anderson project as backups, and I don't think either has the athleticism to be a good edge rusher.Teaming this player with Gholston will give Miami the Merriman/Phillips combo to solidify their linebacking corps. He's a bit lower on my board but I think you've got to pin OLB and NT down more than anything on a 3-4 defense. Obviously, since I've been blowing the guy for the entire second round, I would have gone Crable, but Avril would be a fair pick, albeit a little premature for my tastes.
