The following trades have effected the draft order:

Corey Williams to Cleveland for a R2 pick.

Shaun Rogers to Cleveland for a R3 pick.

Kris Jenkins to the Jets for a R3 pick.

Marcus Stroud to the Bills for a R3 pick.

Redskins to Broncos. The Washington Redskins traded their fourth-round selection in 2008, and their third-round selection in 2007 (used to select Ryan Harris) to the Denver Broncos as part of a three-team trade in which Washington received T.J. Duckett and Atlanta received Ashley Lelie. (This was the result of a formula which could have had Denver and Washington swapping 2007 first-round selections.)

Saints to Jets. The Saints traded their fourth-round selection in 2008 to the Jets, for Jonathan Vilma.

Jets to Panthers. The New York Jets traded their third-round and fifth-round selections to the Carolina Panthers in a deal that sent Kris Jenkins to New York.

Dolphins to Chiefs. Miami (conditionally) traded its fifth-round selection in 2008 to the Kansas City Chiefs in exchange for Trent Green. The selection would have become a fourth-round selection if Green had met certain performance criteria.

Bears to Bills. Chicago (conditionally) traded their fifth-round selection in 2008 to Buffalo in exchange for Darwin Walker. The round of the selection may change, depending on Walker's playing time.

Panthers to Bears. The Carolina Panthers traded their fifth-round selection in 2008 to Chicago in exchange for Chris Harris.

Raiders to Broncos. Oakland (conditionally) traded their fifth-round selection in 2008 to Denver in exchange for Gerard Warren.

Bills to Jaguars The Buffalo Bills traded a 3rd and 5th round selection to the Jacksonville Jaguars in return for DT Marcus Stroud.

Seahawks to Browns. The Seattle Seahawks traded their sixth-round selection in 2008 to Cleveland in exchange for Charlie Frye.[24]

Packers to Giants. The Green Bay Packers traded their sixth-round selection in 2008 to the New York Giants in exchange for running back Ryan Grant.

Broncos to Rams. Denver traded their sixth-round selection in 2008 to the St. Louis Rams for defensive tackle Jimmy Kennedy.[26] The trade occurred after the Broncos had tried to trade the same pick to Miami for defensive tackle Dan Wilkinson; that trade was voided.

Browns to Eagles. Cleveland traded their sixth-round selection in 2008 to Philadelphia for center Hank Fraley. The trade was conditional on games started by Fraley, and could have fallen to a seventh-round pick, but Fraley started all 16 games.

Cowboys/Dolphins swap. The teams swapped their sixth-round selections in a trade involving Jason Ferguson.

Jaguars to Vikings. Jacksonville traded their sixth-round selection for Troy Williamson.

Texans to Broncos. Houston traded their sixth-round pick for Chris Myers.

Steelers to Falcons. The Pittsburgh Steelers traded their seventh-round selection in 2008 to Atlanta for kick/punt returner Allen Rossum.

Seahawks to Eagles. Seattle traded their seventh-round selection in 2008 to Philadelphia for fullback Josh Parry.

Eagles to Bills. Philadelphia traded their seventh-round selection in 2008, and defensive tackle Darwin Walker, to Buffalo for linebacker Takeo Spikes and quarterback Kelly Holcomb.

Rams to Vikings. St. Louis traded their seventh-round selection in 2008 to Minnesota for offensive tackle Adam Goldberg.

Giants to Chiefs. The New York Giants traded their seventh-round selection in 2008 to Kansas City for kicker Lawrence Tynes.

Vikings to Jets. Minnesota traded their seventh-round pick in 2008 to the Jets in exchange for Brooks Bollinger.

Bengals to Rams. Cincinnati traded their seventh-round pick in 2008 to St. Louis in exchange for Ryan Fitzpatrick.

When making your selection, please list the player's name, his position and the school he played for. Not everyone has the same level of knowledge about prospects, and this information will help people who want to research these players further.

Also, if you would, please tell us your reasoning for selecting the player you did. It doesn't have to be a novel, just give some insight on your thought process.

Let's have some fun.

Yeah, Parker missed his pick.

Since several people seem to think that Jamaal Charles is the pick here.....

The Cowboys select Jamaal Charles, RB, Texas

If htismaqe wants to change the pick before Marco Polo picks, he's more than welcome.

The Patriots are on the clock.....

With the Patriots getting the potential steal of the draft in round one in having the top OL fall in their lap, they look again to get a steal at the end of the 2nd round. With an early pick in the 3rd round and what with value is out there is some need positions, they can afford to not go with CB with this pick. With their aging LB unit, there is clearly a value pick available as Virginia Tech OLB Xavier Adibi has been ranked as a possible early to mid 2nd round pick. One thing is for certain, he won't be lasting to the 3rd round.

With the 62nd pick in the 2008 NFL Draft, the New England Patriots select OLB Xavier Adibi, Virginia Tech.

The New York Giants are on the clock...

While I think Jake Long was a steal, I don't think Abidi was. I think he's fair value here, but I don't think he's any major steal.

Good pick for them, though.

Solid pick. #2 OLB on some boards. Has played inside, so his versatility will be helpfull to the Pats.

My five best players on the board, for god's sakes. They're almost all linebackers.

1. DE/OLB Shawn Crable (Michigan)
2. OLB Erin Henderson (Maryland)
3. OT Tony Hills (Texas)
4. MLB Beau Bell (UNLV)
5. MLB Phil Wheeler (Georgia Tech)

Oh I can't tell you where I actually have people ranked, because I don't have people rated on a board individually, I have "levels" that I keep players on.

The biggest reaches to me seem to be the Broncos selecting Kenny Phillips at #12 by the Broncos (when in my opinion he's a second-rounder), Joe Flacco at #37 by the Ravens (he should have been taken deep into the 3rd at best), and of course Jordy Nelson at #51 by the Redskins (when he's justified anywhere in the 4th round, but nowhere before then).

I will say that Mecca's onto something about people overvaluing OL in this Draft because of the Chiefs needs. Not just OT, but OG too, as I think milkman may have gone over the deep end with his selections. I think Albert's a reach in the 1st and I think Rachal's a reach in the 2nd.

On the other side of the coin, a lot of teams are undervaluing LB in this Draft because the Chiefs are more solid at LB than virtually any other position this year (although, to be sure, they could use an upgrade).

I saw last night on the NFL network that this is exactly who they thought the Steelers should target.

I just absolutely don't think you go interior line in the 1st, period. Unless it's a guy you're 100% sure is going to be All Pro, and I don't know if I could ever be that certain with an OG.

I think, because he is so especially talented, he'd be worth a look in the 2nd at the absolute earliest. Rachal's not even the second best OG I have on the board, so he might actually go under who I think would be one of the biggest reaches in this Draft. I'd go Heath Benedict (who is an OT but can master OG), Roy Schuening, Eric Young, or even Rachal's teammate Radovich.

I was actually going to take a LB with the Jags 2nd round pick but I knew that they needed a safety badly...and that Morgan might not last to my 3rd round pick.

that's been my thinking all along this draft is deep at the o line. As the panther's i've been mostly picking on best available talent. Brohm honestly I like and i'm not sold on the miller kid they got last year. Delhome maybe done. the mayo pick was all value dn't know where he would fall.

I'm not gonna give away too much either but there is 2nd round talent still available in this next round. I think there have been some reaches but I tried not to panic and pick only needs.

I hope we go more rounds cause i don't want to stop this is fun. If this draft keeps falling the way it is I might get some steals here.

Albert is a beast. I know i'm creating a sacrilige by saying this but he could be the next Will Shields. He may even play LT. He jumped over for several games and held his own. That takes a special athlete. Incredible punch, gets to the second level quickly. He just created a huge buzz at the Virginia pro-day, by exceeding expectations with his workout. Solid 1st rounder although not top 10. I only wish we had a shot at him too...

Expect the Steelers to target James Hardy or Limas Sweed if he falls after Ben's comments about wanting a big WR....

Guard can easily be had with their 2nd pick.
