The following trades have effected the draft order:

Corey Williams to Cleveland for a R2 pick.

Shaun Rogers to Cleveland for a R3 pick.

Kris Jenkins to the Jets for a R3 pick.

Marcus Stroud to the Bills for a R3 pick.

Redskins to Broncos. The Washington Redskins traded their fourth-round selection in 2008, and their third-round selection in 2007 (used to select Ryan Harris) to the Denver Broncos as part of a three-team trade in which Washington received T.J. Duckett and Atlanta received Ashley Lelie. (This was the result of a formula which could have had Denver and Washington swapping 2007 first-round selections.)

Saints to Jets. The Saints traded their fourth-round selection in 2008 to the Jets, for Jonathan Vilma.

Jets to Panthers. The New York Jets traded their third-round and fifth-round selections to the Carolina Panthers in a deal that sent Kris Jenkins to New York.

Dolphins to Chiefs. Miami (conditionally) traded its fifth-round selection in 2008 to the Kansas City Chiefs in exchange for Trent Green. The selection would have become a fourth-round selection if Green had met certain performance criteria.

Bears to Bills. Chicago (conditionally) traded their fifth-round selection in 2008 to Buffalo in exchange for Darwin Walker. The round of the selection may change, depending on Walker's playing time.

Panthers to Bears. The Carolina Panthers traded their fifth-round selection in 2008 to Chicago in exchange for Chris Harris.

Raiders to Broncos. Oakland (conditionally) traded their fifth-round selection in 2008 to Denver in exchange for Gerard Warren.

Bills to Jaguars The Buffalo Bills traded a 3rd and 5th round selection to the Jacksonville Jaguars in return for DT Marcus Stroud.

Seahawks to Browns. The Seattle Seahawks traded their sixth-round selection in 2008 to Cleveland in exchange for Charlie Frye.[24]

Packers to Giants. The Green Bay Packers traded their sixth-round selection in 2008 to the New York Giants in exchange for running back Ryan Grant.

Broncos to Rams. Denver traded their sixth-round selection in 2008 to the St. Louis Rams for defensive tackle Jimmy Kennedy.[26] The trade occurred after the Broncos had tried to trade the same pick to Miami for defensive tackle Dan Wilkinson; that trade was voided.

Browns to Eagles. Cleveland traded their sixth-round selection in 2008 to Philadelphia for center Hank Fraley. The trade was conditional on games started by Fraley, and could have fallen to a seventh-round pick, but Fraley started all 16 games.

Cowboys/Dolphins swap. The teams swapped their sixth-round selections in a trade involving Jason Ferguson.

Jaguars to Vikings. Jacksonville traded their sixth-round selection for Troy Williamson.

Texans to Broncos. Houston traded their sixth-round pick for Chris Myers.

Steelers to Falcons. The Pittsburgh Steelers traded their seventh-round selection in 2008 to Atlanta for kick/punt returner Allen Rossum.

Seahawks to Eagles. Seattle traded their seventh-round selection in 2008 to Philadelphia for fullback Josh Parry.

Eagles to Bills. Philadelphia traded their seventh-round selection in 2008, and defensive tackle Darwin Walker, to Buffalo for linebacker Takeo Spikes and quarterback Kelly Holcomb.

Rams to Vikings. St. Louis traded their seventh-round selection in 2008 to Minnesota for offensive tackle Adam Goldberg.

Giants to Chiefs. The New York Giants traded their seventh-round selection in 2008 to Kansas City for kicker Lawrence Tynes.

Vikings to Jets. Minnesota traded their seventh-round pick in 2008 to the Jets in exchange for Brooks Bollinger.

Bengals to Rams. Cincinnati traded their seventh-round pick in 2008 to St. Louis in exchange for Ryan Fitzpatrick.

When making your selection, please list the player's name, his position and the school he played for. Not everyone has the same level of knowledge about prospects, and this information will help people who want to research these players further.

Also, if you would, please tell us your reasoning for selecting the player you did. It doesn't have to be a novel, just give some insight on your thought process.

Let's have some fun.

I think the Pats are so complete they could just reach for the best CB on the board and get away with it.

Keith Rivers seems like the best pick for them, IMO, but Cromartie would fill a need.

The rich get richer. New England thought of their need for CB, but with the depth in the draft, the Pats realized that the wars to the Super Bowl are fought within the trenches and can wait to address the CB position later. With the 7th overall pick, the New England Patriots go for the BPA as opposed to need and draft the number one OL in the draft, OL Jake Long, University of Michigan. Long will start at RT, forcing the trade or release to current starter Nick Kaczur (you listening, Carl?!).

Somewhere, Tom Brady is smiling.

That pick just pissed off Ozzie Newsome, considering there's talk of Jonathan Ogden retiring......

I bet if this scenario was real, the Ravens would consider trading up to the Jets. Jets know the Patriots won't draft McFadden so they still get their man plus picks.

Flopnuts isn't currently online, so we might be held up for a bit.

Good job getting 7 picks in less than 7 hours.

Two things that I think have been unrealistic so far:

1. Glenn Dorsey will not go in the first four, I think. The knee is too much of a question mark for #2 money, and the only team in the top five that would give him a shot are the Chiefs. But I think it's possible that the Chiefs may have a pick of the two DTs at #5, and they'd be smart to pick Ellis. Leave Dorsey to the Bengals at #9. I don't think the Rams would choose the question mark of Dorsey (when they're fairly good at DT anyway) over the surefire exclamation point of Chris Long.

2. I'm doubting more and more that the Falcons want Ryan. I know that's the hot buzz around the NFL but I think he's more of a top 15 selection rather than a top 3. I think the Falcons have been married by the universe to this concept of "must take the #1 QB," simply assuming the #1 QB would be worth that high of a pick. If you're picking a QB that high, he needs to have it all, and Ryan's missing just enough elements to freak the Falcs -- I'm willing to bet they go Flacco or Woodson in the second.

That'd be a great anti-carl peterson moment if we passed over Dorsey, especially if we take another DT.

I'm basing my pick of Dorsey for the Rams on the report that most have said Dorsey's injury report is bogus and it's just a couple of teams saying it hoping he'll fall. Since I don't have access to medical report, I'm basing it on him having a clean bill of health, obviously.

I forgot. First year. FNG. Sorry. The organization is EXTREMELY dissapointed to see that Matt Ryan is unavailable. Brian Broehm is tempting, but too much of a reach here. With the 8th pick in the draft The Baltimore Ravens select Leodis McKelvin CB Troy Can't argue with going with what you know. Highly regarded as the best CB in the draft this is probably best player available here.

The recent signing of Odom plays heavily into this selection, as I believe it might signal that the Bengals are going to stay in the 4-3 base defense. If a switch to 3-4 would occur I would consider a versatile prospect like Phillip Merling. With the top corner McKelvin gone, and a no DT worthy of this spot, the Bengals select Keith Rivers, LB, USC

I think the Falcons could be a wildcard in the selection of the two DTs. They released both Grady Jackson and Rod Coleman and basically have squat at the DT position. I think that they think they can get a good QB at the top of the 2nd.

Now that the Saints have cooled off after having Keith Rivers taken a pick before them, they have a huge decision to make - and the first shocking move (to some) of the 2008 Draft comes now.

The BPA on my board also fits a need, even with the recent signing of Randall gay, who will now likely play nickle where he belongs. This pick brings athleticism, speed and great instincts to New Orleans, as well as the ability to help the special teams returning kicks.

With the 10th pick, the New Orleans Saints select:

Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, CB, Tennessee State

The Bills are on the clock.
