The following trades have effected the draft order:

Corey Williams to Cleveland for a R2 pick.

Shaun Rogers to Cleveland for a R3 pick.

Kris Jenkins to the Jets for a R3 pick.

Marcus Stroud to the Bills for a R3 pick.

Redskins to Broncos. The Washington Redskins traded their fourth-round selection in 2008, and their third-round selection in 2007 (used to select Ryan Harris) to the Denver Broncos as part of a three-team trade in which Washington received T.J. Duckett and Atlanta received Ashley Lelie. (This was the result of a formula which could have had Denver and Washington swapping 2007 first-round selections.)

Saints to Jets. The Saints traded their fourth-round selection in 2008 to the Jets, for Jonathan Vilma.

Jets to Panthers. The New York Jets traded their third-round and fifth-round selections to the Carolina Panthers in a deal that sent Kris Jenkins to New York.

Dolphins to Chiefs. Miami (conditionally) traded its fifth-round selection in 2008 to the Kansas City Chiefs in exchange for Trent Green. The selection would have become a fourth-round selection if Green had met certain performance criteria.

Bears to Bills. Chicago (conditionally) traded their fifth-round selection in 2008 to Buffalo in exchange for Darwin Walker. The round of the selection may change, depending on Walker's playing time.

Panthers to Bears. The Carolina Panthers traded their fifth-round selection in 2008 to Chicago in exchange for Chris Harris.

Raiders to Broncos. Oakland (conditionally) traded their fifth-round selection in 2008 to Denver in exchange for Gerard Warren.

Bills to Jaguars The Buffalo Bills traded a 3rd and 5th round selection to the Jacksonville Jaguars in return for DT Marcus Stroud.

Seahawks to Browns. The Seattle Seahawks traded their sixth-round selection in 2008 to Cleveland in exchange for Charlie Frye.[24]

Packers to Giants. The Green Bay Packers traded their sixth-round selection in 2008 to the New York Giants in exchange for running back Ryan Grant.

Broncos to Rams. Denver traded their sixth-round selection in 2008 to the St. Louis Rams for defensive tackle Jimmy Kennedy.[26] The trade occurred after the Broncos had tried to trade the same pick to Miami for defensive tackle Dan Wilkinson; that trade was voided.

Browns to Eagles. Cleveland traded their sixth-round selection in 2008 to Philadelphia for center Hank Fraley. The trade was conditional on games started by Fraley, and could have fallen to a seventh-round pick, but Fraley started all 16 games.

Cowboys/Dolphins swap. The teams swapped their sixth-round selections in a trade involving Jason Ferguson.

Jaguars to Vikings. Jacksonville traded their sixth-round selection for Troy Williamson.

Texans to Broncos. Houston traded their sixth-round pick for Chris Myers.

Steelers to Falcons. The Pittsburgh Steelers traded their seventh-round selection in 2008 to Atlanta for kick/punt returner Allen Rossum.

Seahawks to Eagles. Seattle traded their seventh-round selection in 2008 to Philadelphia for fullback Josh Parry.

Eagles to Bills. Philadelphia traded their seventh-round selection in 2008, and defensive tackle Darwin Walker, to Buffalo for linebacker Takeo Spikes and quarterback Kelly Holcomb.

Rams to Vikings. St. Louis traded their seventh-round selection in 2008 to Minnesota for offensive tackle Adam Goldberg.

Giants to Chiefs. The New York Giants traded their seventh-round selection in 2008 to Kansas City for kicker Lawrence Tynes.

Vikings to Jets. Minnesota traded their seventh-round pick in 2008 to the Jets in exchange for Brooks Bollinger.

Bengals to Rams. Cincinnati traded their seventh-round pick in 2008 to St. Louis in exchange for Ryan Fitzpatrick.

I was hoping Marcus Howard from Georgia would fall to me to help the LBing group, but I have to play the cards I'm dealt. The Rams, determined to solidify their O-line select, from Ohio State, RT Kirk Barton and show how to rebuild an O-line that was in dire straits.

There's one that would make for a solid pick now, but there are several others in the 6th that would be good choices as well.

The Falcons have Matt Ryan and now they need to get him some weapons. There are some good WRs available, but the Falcons love the size, speed, hands and leaping ability of one prospect above the others. There are injury concerns as he had surgery and missed most of the 2007 season. However, after workouts and his pro day the Falcons believe he is healthy and his athletic ability, size and production despite playing in a running offense with horrible QBs (50 receptions, 900+yds, 11TDs in 2006) are too much to pass up. Strongly considered Will Franklin, but Monk, when healthy, produced more against better competition and with less of a supporting cast.

With the 129th pick the Atlanta Falcons select WR Marcus Monk, Arkansas.

I don't think it was a steal of a pick or anything, but I do believe it's a smart pick. I don't know exactly how the Falcons could "love" his speed, which last I read was 4.6, but it's hard to complain about a 6'5" receiver ever.

But I would have preferred Keenan Burton or Adrian Arrington over him. But eh, I don't know what it is but DaKCManAP and I seem to disagree on everything over the Draft.

Overall it's hard to complain about the pick.

I've seen Burton, Arrington and Monk all play (Burton & Monk in person) and when they're on the field I've been more impressed with Monk. Even moreso when you consider who has been throwing the ball to each of them.

As far as Monk's speed, he ran 4.57 at the combine and 4.41 at pro day. That plus being 6'4" with a sick 36" vertical and 10-2 broad jump.

John Sullivan's my pick here if I'm picking for the Chiefs. There's really only a couple OL left worthy of this pick, and Sullivan's one of them.

It's possible that Mecca just gives ChiefsPlanet the bird and keeps drafting who he likes, be it Dennis Dixon to stack the Chiefs up with young QBs, OLB Jordan Dizon who needs a little weight but is a good fit to be a WOLB in the Cover 2, or FB Peyton Hillis who might be the most complete player remaining.

Hell Terrence Wheatley's still on the board which is fairly surprising. I figured somebody here would be interested enough to have thrown a pick his way, but I think his size is scaring people.

Yeah, I'm on board with Sullivan as well.

Wouldn't necessarily be surprised though if the pick is Langford, Lowery or Wheatley.

There are some good WRs available, but the Falcons love the size, speed, hands and leaping ability of one prospect above the others. There are injury concerns as he had surgery and missed most of the 2007 season. However, after workouts and his pro day the Falcons believe he is healthy and his athletic ability, size and production despite playing in a running offense with horrible QBs (50 receptions, 900+yds, 11TDs in 2006) are too much to pass up. Strongly considered Will Franklin, but Monk, when healthy, produced more against better competition and with less of a supporting cast. With the 129th pick the Atlanta Falcons select WR Marcus Monk, Arkansas. __________________

I don't know exactly how the Falcons could "love" his speed, which last I read was 4.6, but it's hard to complain about a 6'5" receiver ever. But I would have preferred Keenan Burton or Adrian Arrington over him. But eh, I don't know what it is but DaKCManAP and I seem to disagree on everything over the Draft. Overall it's hard to complain about the pick.

There's really only a couple OL left worthy of this pick, and Sullivan's one of them. It's possible that Mecca just gives ChiefsPlanet the bird and keeps drafting who he likes, be it Dennis Dixon to stack the Chiefs up with young QBs, OLB Jordan Dizon who needs a little weight but is a good fit to be a WOLB in the Cover 2, or FB Peyton Hillis who might be the most complete player remaining. Hell Terrence Wheatley's still on the board which is fairly surprising. I figured somebody here would be interested enough to have thrown a pick his way, but I think his size is scaring people.
