The following trades have effected the draft order:

Corey Williams to Cleveland for a R2 pick.

Shaun Rogers to Cleveland for a R3 pick.

Kris Jenkins to the Jets for a R3 pick.

Marcus Stroud to the Bills for a R3 pick.

Redskins to Broncos. The Washington Redskins traded their fourth-round selection in 2008, and their third-round selection in 2007 (used to select Ryan Harris) to the Denver Broncos as part of a three-team trade in which Washington received T.J. Duckett and Atlanta received Ashley Lelie. (This was the result of a formula which could have had Denver and Washington swapping 2007 first-round selections.)

Saints to Jets. The Saints traded their fourth-round selection in 2008 to the Jets, for Jonathan Vilma.

Jets to Panthers. The New York Jets traded their third-round and fifth-round selections to the Carolina Panthers in a deal that sent Kris Jenkins to New York.

Dolphins to Chiefs. Miami (conditionally) traded its fifth-round selection in 2008 to the Kansas City Chiefs in exchange for Trent Green. The selection would have become a fourth-round selection if Green had met certain performance criteria.

Bears to Bills. Chicago (conditionally) traded their fifth-round selection in 2008 to Buffalo in exchange for Darwin Walker. The round of the selection may change, depending on Walker's playing time.

Panthers to Bears. The Carolina Panthers traded their fifth-round selection in 2008 to Chicago in exchange for Chris Harris.

Raiders to Broncos. Oakland (conditionally) traded their fifth-round selection in 2008 to Denver in exchange for Gerard Warren.

Bills to Jaguars The Buffalo Bills traded a 3rd and 5th round selection to the Jacksonville Jaguars in return for DT Marcus Stroud.

Seahawks to Browns. The Seattle Seahawks traded their sixth-round selection in 2008 to Cleveland in exchange for Charlie Frye.[24]

Packers to Giants. The Green Bay Packers traded their sixth-round selection in 2008 to the New York Giants in exchange for running back Ryan Grant.

Broncos to Rams. Denver traded their sixth-round selection in 2008 to the St. Louis Rams for defensive tackle Jimmy Kennedy.[26] The trade occurred after the Broncos had tried to trade the same pick to Miami for defensive tackle Dan Wilkinson; that trade was voided.

Browns to Eagles. Cleveland traded their sixth-round selection in 2008 to Philadelphia for center Hank Fraley. The trade was conditional on games started by Fraley, and could have fallen to a seventh-round pick, but Fraley started all 16 games.

Cowboys/Dolphins swap. The teams swapped their sixth-round selections in a trade involving Jason Ferguson.

Jaguars to Vikings. Jacksonville traded their sixth-round selection for Troy Williamson.

Texans to Broncos. Houston traded their sixth-round pick for Chris Myers.

Steelers to Falcons. The Pittsburgh Steelers traded their seventh-round selection in 2008 to Atlanta for kick/punt returner Allen Rossum.

Seahawks to Eagles. Seattle traded their seventh-round selection in 2008 to Philadelphia for fullback Josh Parry.

Eagles to Bills. Philadelphia traded their seventh-round selection in 2008, and defensive tackle Darwin Walker, to Buffalo for linebacker Takeo Spikes and quarterback Kelly Holcomb.

Rams to Vikings. St. Louis traded their seventh-round selection in 2008 to Minnesota for offensive tackle Adam Goldberg.

Giants to Chiefs. The New York Giants traded their seventh-round selection in 2008 to Kansas City for kicker Lawrence Tynes.

Vikings to Jets. Minnesota traded their seventh-round pick in 2008 to the Jets in exchange for Brooks Bollinger.

Bengals to Rams. Cincinnati traded their seventh-round pick in 2008 to St. Louis in exchange for Ryan Fitzpatrick.

Carolina Panthers are super excited to still see who they wanted from the start. The choice is easy here.

with the 13th pick in the 2008 NFL DRaft the Carolina panthers select QB Brian Brohm from Louisville.

Reason one didn't think he would be there and besides last year he plays big in big games.

I really don't like the last couple of picks.

I think Phillips is overrated, which is one of the reasons he's sliding down in value to a low 1st pick at this point. The Broncos need safety help but they need help everywhere on defense. The best value pick for them would have been Clady -- a position of need on offense and at this point, Clady's the best player on the board. Or at least he's the surest thing.

Brohm... eh. I don't like him at all. I understand the Panthers are QB hungry but Brohm is such a project it'll be at least two years before you find out exactly what you've got with him, and who knows what he'll be capable of. He's got the potential to flame out hard in an offense that doesn't allow him to pass the ball every single play, and I see very few scenarios where he could turn out to be a Pro Bowl QB.

But eh... I feel those were need picks, but Brohm is really anybody's guess.

He's got the potential to flame out hard in an offense that doesn't allow him to pass the ball every single play, and I see very few scenarios where he could turn out to be a Pro Bowl QB.

But eh... I feel those were need picks, but Brohm is really anybody's guess.

Clady was my next pick for Denver, and if it were ME, owner of a team, I'd take Ryan Clady too. I just think Denver will do anything to get a defender about now. It was a reach for need, definitely.

And I didn't like the Brohm pick at all either. Both of these teams should jump all over Clady, imo.

The instate talent of Rashard Mehndenhall is temting, but having lost both there 1 and 2 WRs in the off season, Bears need to find Grossman some receiving threats. Also put into consideration was drafting an OT, but with the depth of OTs and RB, the Bears will gamble to take one in the 2nd or later.

I wouldn't go that far. I've counted a handful of reaches so far (by my count). I'd say Brohm, Kelly, Phillips, and McKelvin went too soon.

Of course, that means there's going to be some tremendous talent available in the last 1st and early 2nd.

If I'm the Lions, I go Clady or Antoine Cason, and considering they've got literally nothing to replace Shaun Rogers at NT, I might reach for the best pure NT in the Draft in the 2nd, Red Bryant.

ok explanation for Brohm pick take away last year. Brohm is a quality qb. Last year he had to learn a new offense which didn't really let him shine. I'm sorry if everyone thinks I made a bad pic but you never know . I personally believe he is gonna be really good. IF moore steps it up great if he doesn't panthers have Brohm ready to go.

Why no claddy ? I'm not impressed with him. I watched him in games and the combine. He doesn't get a low enough base . I knew he hurt himself at the combine but I"m kind of questioning his heart. I feel a good OT will be there with our later pics. Almost went Medenhall but didn't they draft a rb 2yrs ago high from memphis i think?

who knows maybe a good rb falls. In my mind Brohm is too good to pass up.

The choice is easy here. with the 13th pick in the 2008 NFL DRaft the Carolina panthers select QB Brian Brohm from Louisville. Reason one didn't think he would be there and besides last year he plays big in big games.

I think Phillips is overrated, which is one of the reasons he's sliding down in value to a low 1st pick at this point. The Broncos need safety help but they need help everywhere on defense. The best value pick for them would have been Clady -- a position of need on offense and at this point, Clady's the best player on the board. Or at least he's the surest thing. Brohm... eh. I don't like him at all. I understand the Panthers are QB hungry but Brohm is such a project it'll be at least two years before you find out exactly what you've got with him, and who knows what he'll be capable of. He's got the potential to flame out hard in an offense that doesn't allow him to pass the ball every single play, and I see very few scenarios where he could turn out to be a Pro Bowl QB. But eh... I feel those were need picks, but Brohm is really anybody's guess.

The instate talent of Rashard Mehndenhall is temting, but having lost both there 1 and 2 WRs in the off season, Bears need to find Grossman some receiving threats. Also put into consideration was drafting an OT, but with the depth of OTs and RB, the Bears will gamble to take one in the 2nd or later. The Bears select Malcolm Kelly, WR, Oklahoma BigRock and the Lions are on the clock.

I'd say Brohm, Kelly, Phillips, and McKelvin went too soon. Of course, that means there's going to be some tremendous talent available in the last 1st and early 2nd. If I'm the Lions, I go Clady or Antoine Cason, and considering they've got literally nothing to replace Shaun Rogers at NT, I might reach for the best pure NT in the Draft in the 2nd, Red Bryant.

Last year he had to learn a new offense which didn't really let him shine. I'm sorry if everyone thinks I made a bad pic but you never know . I personally believe he is gonna be really good. IF moore steps it up great if he doesn't panthers have Brohm ready to go. Why no claddy ? I'm not impressed with him. I watched him in games and the combine. He doesn't get a low enough base . I knew he hurt himself at the combine but I"m kind of questioning his heart. I feel a good OT will be there with our later pics. Almost went Medenhall but didn't they draft a rb 2yrs ago high from memphis i think? who knows maybe a good rb falls. In my mind Brohm is too good to pass up.
