The following trades have effected the draft order:

Corey Williams to Cleveland for a R2 pick.

Shaun Rogers to Cleveland for a R3 pick.

Kris Jenkins to the Jets for a R3 pick.

Marcus Stroud to the Bills for a R3 pick.

Redskins to Broncos. The Washington Redskins traded their fourth-round selection in 2008, and their third-round selection in 2007 (used to select Ryan Harris) to the Denver Broncos as part of a three-team trade in which Washington received T.J. Duckett and Atlanta received Ashley Lelie. (This was the result of a formula which could have had Denver and Washington swapping 2007 first-round selections.)

Saints to Jets. The Saints traded their fourth-round selection in 2008 to the Jets, for Jonathan Vilma.

Jets to Panthers. The New York Jets traded their third-round and fifth-round selections to the Carolina Panthers in a deal that sent Kris Jenkins to New York.

Dolphins to Chiefs. Miami (conditionally) traded its fifth-round selection in 2008 to the Kansas City Chiefs in exchange for Trent Green. The selection would have become a fourth-round selection if Green had met certain performance criteria.

Bears to Bills. Chicago (conditionally) traded their fifth-round selection in 2008 to Buffalo in exchange for Darwin Walker. The round of the selection may change, depending on Walker's playing time.

Panthers to Bears. The Carolina Panthers traded their fifth-round selection in 2008 to Chicago in exchange for Chris Harris.

Raiders to Broncos. Oakland (conditionally) traded their fifth-round selection in 2008 to Denver in exchange for Gerard Warren.

Bills to Jaguars The Buffalo Bills traded a 3rd and 5th round selection to the Jacksonville Jaguars in return for DT Marcus Stroud.

Seahawks to Browns. The Seattle Seahawks traded their sixth-round selection in 2008 to Cleveland in exchange for Charlie Frye.[24]

Packers to Giants. The Green Bay Packers traded their sixth-round selection in 2008 to the New York Giants in exchange for running back Ryan Grant.

Broncos to Rams. Denver traded their sixth-round selection in 2008 to the St. Louis Rams for defensive tackle Jimmy Kennedy.[26] The trade occurred after the Broncos had tried to trade the same pick to Miami for defensive tackle Dan Wilkinson; that trade was voided.

Browns to Eagles. Cleveland traded their sixth-round selection in 2008 to Philadelphia for center Hank Fraley. The trade was conditional on games started by Fraley, and could have fallen to a seventh-round pick, but Fraley started all 16 games.

Cowboys/Dolphins swap. The teams swapped their sixth-round selections in a trade involving Jason Ferguson.

Jaguars to Vikings. Jacksonville traded their sixth-round selection for Troy Williamson.

Texans to Broncos. Houston traded their sixth-round pick for Chris Myers.

Steelers to Falcons. The Pittsburgh Steelers traded their seventh-round selection in 2008 to Atlanta for kick/punt returner Allen Rossum.

Seahawks to Eagles. Seattle traded their seventh-round selection in 2008 to Philadelphia for fullback Josh Parry.

Eagles to Bills. Philadelphia traded their seventh-round selection in 2008, and defensive tackle Darwin Walker, to Buffalo for linebacker Takeo Spikes and quarterback Kelly Holcomb.

Rams to Vikings. St. Louis traded their seventh-round selection in 2008 to Minnesota for offensive tackle Adam Goldberg.

Giants to Chiefs. The New York Giants traded their seventh-round selection in 2008 to Kansas City for kicker Lawrence Tynes.

Vikings to Jets. Minnesota traded their seventh-round pick in 2008 to the Jets in exchange for Brooks Bollinger.

Bengals to Rams. Cincinnati traded their seventh-round pick in 2008 to St. Louis in exchange for Ryan Fitzpatrick.

I personally had some other CBs rated ahead of King, but that's my opinion.

It's the cumulative effect.

If you take NFLDC, for example, Groves actually went 39th, so him falling further than he should...well we'll see because as of now he's slipping.

I wonder about a guy like Barry Richardson, I think he's a WW, I think John Sullivan is a better value there especially given our needs.

Simpson was another WW. I liked him, but not in the 4th.

I think the next 6 DBs taken after Adams were all better prospects than him, and again, he was boosted by workout #s, but that's my board.

You have a strategy and at least you're consistent. But you don't play football in shorts and a tank top.

Because he was over valued b/c of his game against Williams two years ago, was considered a 1st rounder last year and played like crap this year.

After Willie Parker, the Steelers have Najeh Davenport, who is a decent change of pace back, Vernon Hayes and Gary Russell, both of whom have that incredible "Eh" factor.

I've loved all of Mecca's late rounders until now. I am not a fan of Bess, I feel that he's slow on the field and he disappeared against Georgia, the only decent defense Hawaii played all year.

I think that's more line and Brennan than him, Bess is a prototypical slot WR, he's not extremely fast but he's a great route runner with very good hands that has been ultra productive.

He's quick and fluid, I think he'll be a very good slot WR it fits his skill set.

At this point there are a couple options for the Eagles, but they've reached the point where they are just looking for people that can contribute. Despite the fact that he is BPA at this point, QB Dennis Dixon is not that player, because the Eagles are loaded at QB 1 through 3.

DE Ken Iwebema was a part of the conversation the last time the Eagles picked a few slots ago, and he's still a prime consideration here, although he'd be doing battle with Chris Clemons and Johnny Dingle for playing time. The Eagles do need a third DE that can play a good number of downs, though.

SS Jamie Silva plays at a position that is far less of a need right now, but his value is undeniable. Again, the Eagles invested in Woodyard in the 4th who could be faster and stronger, but Silva is the intelligent, nerves-of-steel safety the Eagles could use.

So at this point it comes down between Iwebema and Silva. Both players would hedge the Eagles' bets at either S or DE. Both players I value as late 5th rounders. Both players have injury histories.

The Eagles ultimately decide that the quality of safeties in UDFA isn't that much of a drop from the safeties in the 6th -- and they have a couple in particular targeted as steals. The depth at DE is much weaker when the 7th round comes about, and there's a chance Iwebema could be a fantastic value pick if he stays healthy.

With the 182nd pick in the 2008 NFL Draft, the Philadelphia Eagles select DE Ken Iwebema from the University of Iowa.

I like Rounds 2-6. I think that there could have been a better choice with his 1st round pick. Sweed is decent but I don't know if he's worth a 1st.

DT Letroy Guion (Florida State) At this point there are a couple options for the Eagles, but they've reached the point where they are just looking for people that can contribute. Despite the fact that he is BPA at this point, QB Dennis Dixon is not that player, because the Eagles are loaded at QB 1 through 3. DE Ken Iwebema was a part of the conversation the last time the Eagles picked a few slots ago, and he's still a prime consideration here, although he'd be doing battle with Chris Clemons and Johnny Dingle for playing time. The Eagles do need a third DE that can play a good number of downs, though. SS Jamie Silva plays at a position that is far less of a need right now, but his value is undeniable. Again, the Eagles invested in Woodyard in the 4th who could be faster and stronger, but Silva is the intelligent, nerves-of-steel safety the Eagles could use. So at this point it comes down between Iwebema and Silva. Both players would hedge the Eagles' bets at either S or DE. Both players I value as late 5th rounders. Both players have injury histories. The Eagles ultimately decide that the quality of safeties in UDFA isn't that much of a drop from the safeties in the 6th -- and they have a couple in particular targeted as steals. The depth at DE is much weaker when the 7th round comes about, and there's a chance Iwebema could be a fantastic value pick if he stays healthy. With the 182nd pick in the 2008 NFL Draft, the Philadelphia Eagles select DE Ken Iwebema from the University of Iowa. Last edited by Direckshun; 04-15-2008 at 12:26 PM..
