I got my letter a couple of days ago that i passed my Nursing Entrance Test, it had a lot of math, chemistry, biology, cellular biology, reading comprehension, now all i have to do is wait to start to school, hopefully in September.

I do agree with the charge, when its a bed alarm going off whether its your patient or not your suppose to go. Thats why I really don't see what pissed the CNA off, she has only been doing this for about 4 months and you'd think she would appreciate any help in any way she could get.

I think as for the other part I am probably the only one here who wears thongs with their scrubs. I guess, I don't actually know that for sure.

I've actually got a similar story.
There are absolutely no social studies teaching openings in the area, so (I may have posted a thread about this) I decided to take the Praxis for General Science in order to add to my certification. I signed up to take it in April, then put it off till June. By the time June came around, I had decided not to take it. I hadn't studied at all, and felt like it was a waste of time for a guy with something like 9 hours of science credits to try and pass this thing. The day before the test, I decided to go ahead and give it a shot. I just found out I passed it.

...of course, now all the science openings in the area are filled.

Until now, I had never noticed how bad nurses' spelling and grammar are. I guess it's not a necessity for their profession.... well, unless writing up an order for more morphine and writing something like morphin. And well, then you might get a few power rangers or something instead.

My ex was going to school for nursing. I helped her study every now and then too, but I didn't think it was difficult at all. Just a ton of memorization.

Although, she was in the fairly early stage of her studies.
