Hardees breakfasts

Anyone ever had their blueberry biscuits? If not.. I highly recommend them.

I prefer the original BoBerry Biscuits, but you might not be able to get them in your part of the country (though the UCF at the front of your name makes me think maybe you can).

There is no Hardees here. They are building a Sam's Club and IHOP though. I think I'll take an IHOP breakfast over a fast food one.

Don't know if you have Carls Jr.in your area but they are the SAME company.

I know I go to the Carls Jr in Vegas when I am out there visiting the "Parental Units" because it is a pretty good place to eat.

Hardees USED to have some of the BEST biscuits years ago when we had one here. Don't know about now.

Hardees are no longer in my area either, but Hardees breakfasts are great....especially for a fast food joint. I use to love their "beefsteak, egg, and cheese" biscuits--and their biscuits and gravy was the bomb. Now, it couldn't be an every day sort of thing, otherwise you'd be having a heart attack every 2 or 3 years....but once or twice a month....

Bob Dole used to drive about 40 miles round trip on Saturday mornings to go get a steak egg and cheese biscuit. That one closed years ago, too, though.

I used to kill on those biscuit and gravy bowls when I was working at the old studio. They're probably responsible for half of my extra thousand pounds of fat.

I've found....that at places like Perkins or Dennys you can sometimes talk the cook into making one, using chicken fried steak....it's pretty close.

We don't have Perkins here, either. Grandy's has a good approximation of the steak egg and cheese, but the biscuit doesn't have that flaky/fried thing like Hardee's does.
