Leave it to the JailBlazers to tank their game against the lowly Clippers to avoid meeting the San Antonio Spurs in their bracket.

Leave it to the 3-Time Champs to exude class by whomping up on the lowly Warriors to secure the #5 seed and eventually match-up with the Spurs in the next round.

That "whoosh" you hear is from the Cowtown Euros as they get a cakewalk to the Western Finals by playing the Utah Greybeards and then the defenseless Cuban Cigars.

The Staples Crew will EASILY dispatch those toothless T-Cubs before a BIG match-up against the Boot Accessorizors. This will be a huge test for the Champs but they will eventually prevail before the long awaited match-up with the Farmers.

Once past the Spurs, the Lakers will throttle the Kings and send that franchise reeling. Rumor has it that Brittney Spears is already scoping out Mark Madsen for a date to the NBA Finals.

Unlike the Detroit Red Wings complete choke job in this years NHL Finals, the Big Aristolte has his crew all primed for a Quatro.

Long live the Lakers dynasty and their loyal fans.

Long live the venomous hatred of those unfortunate souls who continue to slander this great organization.

You are sooooooooooo full of chit it's ridiculous. Show me one person that conceded. MAny said they didn't like their chances after the way they played the first two games but nobody ever conceded to the best of my recollection. Furthermore several Laker fans have been right with you throughout this including me. I am only online at work (for 2 more weeks) so I can't respond immediatly after the weekend games but if it makes you feel like a bigger man because you can then all the more power to ya.

I said that I didn't think LA could beat San Antonio this year. I also said that I didn't think we would four-peat.

I felt with a team beating the Lakers six straight times that LA didn't stand a chance.

Maybe I was wrong after watching this weekend, maybe I wasn't. Who knows. I'm not saying another word on this topic unitl the offseason because when I keep my mouth shut good things happen.

That last two games were huge. Coming back from 16 down with no Phil Jackson or Fox against a very good Spurs team was impressive indeed. I can't believe they got George up and going so fast. If they pull out their fourth straight against these teams now nobody can talk trash about the Lake show but I am sure they will anyway.

I find it interesting that nobody calls me out when I fail to post after the Lakers punked the T-Cubs (as predicted when they went down 2-1). Adam should be fully aware that I do not hide from anything as it relates the the Lake Show.

The Boot Accessorizors played completely out of their minds these first two games and will win the series if they keep jacking up 55% on their shots. But like the T-Cubs, they will start to feel the noose getting tighter as the clinching games approach. (Kings fans know all about CLINCHING games, right?)

I look for the Lakers to re-group and come away with a 6-7 point victory in Game #3. All of a sudden it is 1-2 and the MVPs start shivering.

The Lakers will then pull out Game #4 on Sunday to tie it up at 2 with a HUGE game in Texas for Game #5. This is where the series will be decided.

Given the Zenmasters ability to outcoach MVP Greg, don't be surprised when the short-handed Champs rip the Accessorizors hearts out.

Just your friendly Lakers Nostradamus pulling up some prophecies when the Champs were down 0-2....

The Lake Show will even the series this afternoon before the BIG GAME in Tejas on Tuesday night. The NBA Champion will be crowned in Game #5 (unless the Spurs pull a Sacktown Meltdown a lose in 7).

Pay close to attention to the bricks being tossed up by the Parkers, Gianobles, Jacksons, and Bowens as the series gets tighter. Far too easy to jack up shots in games that have no meaning.

Let's see who has the nads when the Title in is the balance.

IF the Lakers can win tonight, (and that's a big IF) then you can start engraving the trophy.

San Antonio is learning what Portland, Minn, and Sactown, have all learned before them.

When you have a chance to kill the Lakers, you'd better make sure they're dead.

Queens fans your team is in trouble. You ran into a tired Mavs team Sunday night. Tonight the Mavs once again showed how vulnerable the queens are without Webber.

Kings needed to maintain the good things they built off Game 4.. and for a half they did.

Then they decided to bookend the most emabarrasing 1st half ever on defense (Game 2) with the most embarassing 2nd half ever on offense (tonight).

I am giving the Mavs credit... they HAVE BEEN better than the Kings... and more alarmingly, hungrier than the Kings.

Still, what could be worse, giving up 83 points in a half or scoring 32 points in a must-win 2nd half against an inept defnesive team like Dallas?

Nick Van Exel is the MVP of the series... as if anyone didn't know that. Looking at the Top 5 players of the series, at least 3 and probably 4 of them are on Dallas

2. Dirk
3. Nash
4. Peja
5. Finley

It wouldn't surprise me to see the series end in Arco, although I'll go with the school of thought that the Kings will regroup at home and win, setting up Game 7.

I don't see much reason to hope the Kings will win in Dallas, but until it's over, I got to have faith, even if it's blind.

Down by 21 midway through the 3rd quarter so might as well post a bit early tonight.......

Don't tell the Lakers but there was a Game #5 this evening.

Now we're on the 17% end of teams that can overcome a 2-3 deficit after losing a Game 5. That's the bad news.

The good news? We just pulled that rabbit out of a hat last year against the Kings.

My next prediction on this series? (You'll notice I made none for this game tonight)

Game #7 in San Antonio with the game coming down to the final 4 minutes.

Lakers just need to keep it close as the Boot Accessorizors will melt under the pressure. No pressure when you're up by 23 fuggin points tonight.
