Blu-ray & DVD question (skipping previews)

I've noticed that on just about every new DVD and Blu-ray disc I've gotten from Netflix lately, it appears that have disabled the skip-forward, disc-menu and menu buttons during the previews. The only way I can find to skip the previews is to fast-forward through each one. Which stops at the end of each preview and requires you start fast-forwarding again each time.

Am I missing something here? Is anyone else experiencing this? Any suggestions?

DVDs have been doing that for years. If you have the money to spend, they make high end DVD players that allow you to skip that crap. As far as BD goes, I don't know if they make players that skip it or not.

I am getting sick of them locking out functions though.

Kids DVDs are the absolute WORST about this crap!!!

This is the kind of crap that has caused me to stop watching movies altogether. If I wanted to watch a bunch of goddamn commercials, I'd watch something on TV.

It's not the first time I have gotten comments on my calves. Don't know why though.

Well you have two choices, either buy a player that allows you to skip it, or rip the movie and play it from your computer.
