Oddly, these Round 5 heats are easy for me to rank. My votes:
#1 - Pulp Fiction. "Normally, your a** would be dead as fried chicken." #2 - Apollo 13. "You're telling me that you can only give our guys 45 hours?" #3 - Inglorious Basterds. A great scene, certainly. Worth a spot in Round 5. But it's not as great as the two scenes above. #4 - Goodfellas. Great scene, but travels along a lower plane of evolution than the other scenes above it. #5 - Gran Torino. Honestly, I would have knocked this scene out in Round 1, or Round 2 at the latest. It's not even running the same race as the other scenes.

Which scene would be the best if we moved the star up one scene on the list? So for example, if ....
...Ed Harris was playing Jules in the Pulp Fiction scene? ...Joe Pesci was playing Gene Kranz in the Apollo 13 scene? ...Clint Eastwood was playing Tommy Devito in the Goodfellas scene? ...Christopher Waltz was playing Walt Kowalski in the Gran Torino scene? ...Samuel L. Jackson was playing Hans Landa in the Inglorious Basterds scene? I think the best cast change would clearly be Ed Harris in Pulp Fiction. I don't know that he could match Samuel L. Jackson, but he could pull off that role, oddly enough. Christopher Waltz could also do a good Walt Kowalski, and it would be interesting to see Clint Eastwood doing that Goodfellas scene. On the other end, Samuel L. Jackson would completely change the role in Inglorious Basterds and probably wouldn't work, and Joe Pesci would destroy Apollo 13.

We need more votes for Apollo 13. Don't let me down. We've never lost this Apollo 13 scene, and we're sure as hell not going to lose it on my watch. Failure is not an option.
