There's no doubt at all. Bills are their only real competition in the league and they've been horrible for a month now.

And yet KC lost to a bad Colts team, struggled against a bad Raiders team, struggled against Titans without Tannehill, and needed a miracle Pick 6 on Herbert to beat the Chargers.

If KC is the best team in the league, it’s a league of extremely flawed teams across the board including KC. It’s like being the tallest midget.

The Titans game has to give anyone who is being subjective some concern.

They were playing a Malik Willis lead team. Malik Willis can barely complete a pass. Yet he took the Chiefs to OT.

Is there any doubt the Chiefs lose that game if Tannehill was playing?

Goes both ways too. Allen playing like dog crap for 2.5 games has to give Bills fans pause too.

The Dolphins and Eagles having a cream puff schedule has to give their fans pause. The Dolphins crowning jewel was beating a Bills team that had 9 starters out… by two points. The Eagles just lost to Heinicke.

Quite frankly, you nailed it. It’s a league of very flawed teams right now. Last year at this time the Chiefs were 5-4. I think the Bills were too. Then both the Chiefs and Bills got hot when it mattered. Mid season is where teams weather storms, not win championships.

On the other hand KC would be 8-1 if it wasn’t for a subjective personal foul penalty in Week 3

We can do this all day

Tannehill is not exactly perfect, so it’s hard to say Tennessee definitely wins that game with him. But anyway, I think KC is pretty flawed and so is the rest of the league. Tallest midget situation right now. Brady was correct in his statement that there is a lot of bad football this year.

I get your post, but when bringing up the Titans game for the Chiefs I counter with the Jets game for the Bills. They were without Hall and Wilson is a mistake prone 2nd year QB. Buffalo could not get past them. Every team has games they should have lost or lost a game they should have won. Tennessee is a bad matchup for KC and has been while Vrabel has been HC. KC always struggles with them.

A miracle pick 6? It was tied 17-17 at the time with over 10 minutes left in the 4th. We went up 27-17 after driving the ball down are next possession. They had a late TD after going for it on 3 4th downs... It was a big play, but don't act we were doomed if they score and go up 24-17 or 20-17 there...

Oh, and if we had any resemblance of a kicker, and Skyy Moore catches a punt, we easily win the Colts game. We had a bad 1st quarter against the Raiders, and we had over 500 yards vs. the Titans. Not our best games, but victories.

Yeah the only miracle in that game was the throw by Herbert on 4th and 10. If he’s not perfect on that throw, KC wins 27-17

It was a miracle in the sense that it happened when the Chargers were about to score a TD. The 99 yard Pick 6 was a 14-point swing in a single play. That’s extremely rare for a single play to have such big impact. Miraculous IMHO.

Players make mistakes in games. You try to limit your own, and maximize those of your opponent. The pick-6 may have been fortuitous, but hardly a miracle. The Chargers were playing hurry-up offense and most were exhausted. I don't know how tired Herbert was, but the receiver he threw the ball to was wanting out before the play. That does not make a miracle. They were trying to make us tired and paid the price by being too tired themselves.

That is a mistake. Not a miracle, but a mistake. One of the ways you win is by making fewer mistakes and the Chargers made a big one.

In retrospect, it's easy now to understand what is happening to the Bills. The focus of their entire season was on week 6 when they played the Chiefs. No other week mattered to them in any way like week 6. Once they won that game, it was like they won the Super Bowl, so they all relaxed. Their season might be totally f***** now as they struggle to find themselves again over the remaining games. I predict they fail to win the division.
