Well, what happens is you have a new poster, and that poster looks at the board and thinks "Hey, I want to post here!" So he clicks on that quick reply box and types in a message. Then he looks that message over, and if he likes that message he just typed, BOOM!, he presses enter. There's a certain finality to posting on a message board, because once you hit enter, that's it, you're done.

I've always seen message board posters as two groups. There's one group, and they post on the message board. Everyday they come in and work hard and make conversation. Then there's this other group of people, they don't actually post on the message board. They just lurk, so they are called lurkers. Either way, you're going to read the message board, and really that's why we're all here.
