Some Cardinals fans really wanted him this offeseason to play 2B, though he never seemed all that great to me.

This is why I find it very difficult to continue being a fan of professional sports.

parity has worked really well in the nfl...

despite our hapless chiefs, i still enjoy football...

I'm not much of a basketball fan, although I'm happy to see the Bulls playing well for the first time since Jordan hung up his spurs.

Both of em are pretty much regional for the most part. If you have a competative team in your area or grew up watching one they are both still very enjoyable.
