the way they played together in Philly, Trotter may be the best option for us, I'm sure Trotter and Barber would work well together in KC just like they did in Philly!

What about the talk last season of ditching Holliday, Barber and Morton? Is Barber still in our plans for next season?

Assuming he manages to get healthy, yeah. We paid a good amount of money for him and he was known as a "ballhawking" LB when he came. I think Barber could still do some good for us. He's done well before. He just seems to have gotten engulfed in the whole crappiness that is the Chiefs defense.

The big question is will he be able to regain his health?

Trotter and Barber did play together (before Barber came to KC) in Philly...IIRC.

I view Trotter as a more passionate leader, a better run-stopper, and a more sure tackler than Barber. Barber is faster, probably better in coverage....but Trotter would immediately be our best LB since Edwards, IMO.

Barber was in Washinton when Trotter was in Philli.

And the two are in no way similar...

I stand corrected; Barber played for Philly in 2002, the same year Trotter went to Washington.

I understand that Barber is a OLB, and Trotter a MLB...but both are LBs. Barber has more range and speed. Trotter is tougher against the run, and tackles with the best of them. That's all I was sayin'....
