ESPN's newest hire to cover college football..........this is quite bizarre

NICK LACHEY!!!!

According to Mike Huguenin of The Orlando Sentinel, Nick Lachey somehow might become even more visible. Wrote Huguenin: "We've heard a rumor that, frankly, we're not too happy about. It's that ESPN plans to use Nick Lachey - best-known, probably, for being Mr. Jessica Simpson - on some of its college football coverage this fall.

Maybe his "knowledge" of college football surpasses that of professional football. Last week ESPN had a fantasy draft amongst different personalities, and Lachey took Corey Dillon and Lamont Jordan back to back with his first two picks, and then Domanick Davis with his 3rd when guys like Deuce McAllister & McGahee were there in the 2nd, and Barber, Portis & Julius Jones were in the 3rd.

Not to be outdone, Suzy Kolber picked the worst squad I've ever seen. She took Favre in the 2nd round, Kurt Warner in the 6th, and the Steelers defense in the 4th.

Lachey has "carnal knowledge" of Jessica Simpson. That's better than a lot of other "knowledge".

I thought he did pretty well. We've all got our own rankings.

And my wife is a fantasy football junkie like me, and was pissed at Kolber. Said as the only female in that draft was shaming all of them. Kolber really was pathetic...

He was on ESPN's NFL fantasy football preview show, I'd guess that's where this stems from.... he got to pick a team right along with Berman, Jaws, Irvin, Steve Young, etc...

And while going thru the draft, he got a sweet dig in on Kellen Winslow II, was damn funny! I never got to see the whole roster results, but he was drafting pretty well.

Granted, for some odd reason even with all that money he chooses to drink nothing but Miller Lite, but hey, everyone has their flaws. You give me those four things, but tell me I can only drink Miller Lite... I think I could learn to live with it.
I guess the solo singing career didn't work out. Must be hard when your wife is the major breadwinner of the family. Giving up singing for football? Yay, another rich pretty boy.
