My solution to this DirecTv BS

This is th final straw for me, since I subscribe to Sunday Ticket to get all the Chiefs games I'm going to plan B.

My mom (who lives in Blue Springs) is getting DirecTv with local channels and getting 2 receivers. One receiver is getting shipped to me. Now I just have to hope that the spot beam that serves up the KC locals can be received in Atlanta. If it works, good bye Sunday Ticket 2006. I'm sick of getting dicked by DirecTV and most of all, the NFL.

This is all on the NFL, becuase of some stupid law or rule left over from the 70's.

Thats a good idea but not sure if it will work. I tried that last year when I was in Texas visiting family. I packed up my receiver and hooked it up down there on the inlaws directv. We could not get the local Topeka signal........ sucked real bad! Hopefully it works for you though!
