Who's got Duce Stayley in the respective leagues? I do not, but surely would have if he'd fallen to me in the 1st round(I had the last pick in the 1st).
For those that do, better check this out, lickety-split!! Out4Season? FYI, the team I play this week is stuck with starting Richard Huntley, so may be lookin for a late pickup to play this week on Emmitt's BYE. NEXT week I play the owners of Stayley himself, who also happen to lead our league in points scored! Their backups are Bryson in Buffalo, and Redmond in NE, so also would likely look for a replacement. So....I just picked up Mitchell for the sole purpose to stick it to em!!! Apparently, I spoke too soon. Another team in my league has put in for him also, so there will be a lotto for the rights to Mitchell. Thankfully, neither of the teams I had mentioned I'm up against this week and next appear to have a clue about this. So, even if I lose the lotto, I still win! Gotta like that. PS Could very well be much ado bout nothin, if Duce is AOK! Take the warning as just that, and nothin more at this point. ------------------ [b]ct Give TRich the Ball!!! |

I just made a trade last week in our office pool for "Duce", C.Martin/Duce, T.Brown/Moss & S.D. D/PHI., last week the GURU report suggested to trade for Duce & Moss, I hated like hell to give up Martin but figured Duce wouldn't be too far off his #'s & Moss should come on and kick @$$ this year.
I was in pretty good spirits last week w/Moss going off but about $tained my $horts when Duce hobbled off. I have "Running" Watters as my back-up but friggin Alexander is takin some carries from him! |

It’s almost a given that Eagle RB Duce Staley (foot) will undergo season-ending surgery on his right foot. Staley visited an orthopedic specialist in South Carolina on Friday and the verdict was that he almost certainly needs the surgery. He’ll go through one more set of tests before it’s official. ESPN’s John Clayton reports the team may sign RB Terry Kirby, who knows the West Coast offense. There's a slight chance that Staley will be out only 4-6 weeks, but that won't be known until early in the week.
|
