If he did, then Herm is NOTHING like we've been promised. Our star RB only got 17 carries and we threw the ball WAY too much given that we couldn't pass protect.

Yeah, what he said. We were down by 2 TD's with plenty of time left to get it all back and then some, yet we decide to throw the ball on every down knowing it's a crap shoot whether Trent has the time to make the read. That's not Herm, or Marty ball. This offensive performance had ZERO to do with Herm Edwards. It had zero to do with Damon Huard as well. 5 wins in 6 career starts with a subpar offense in Miami tells me to give this 4 year vet of our offense the benefit of the doubt this week. Enough to win? Probably not, but this game will be much closer than many of you think. I believe in this defense, and I believe the offense will play better next week than they did on Sunday.

Our O is afected more by losing 2 tackles (RIGHT BEFORE TC), one a Hall of Famer, having a new OC that planned and called his first game yesterday, and Old Age than it was by Herm.

Put Al Saunders in the same situation and we would probably get the same results.
