Assistance needed with a wireless network
I am at my grandparents house and unable to connect to their wireless network because grandma cannot remember the password (leaving me stuck on the crappy desktop). Is there some place I can go on the computer and look the password up, or even reset it to something she can remember?

Usually you can jam a pen in a hole in the back of the router and reset it.

Before I start hitting reset buttons, I need to know what is going to happen once it has been pushed. Is a window going to pop up on the screen automaticaly (I'm guessing not)? I have never set up a wireless network before, I am ignorant of such things.
Also, will I have to re add the other computers to the network? And what kind of process is that if so?

If you reset the router you'll have to go back in and reconfigure it obviously. Look in the manual. I just point my browser to http://192.168.123.254/

Pfffft. Like I have any idea where the manual is. And even if grandma does??? She's in bed now.
Forget it, I'll just stick with this annoying desktop.

ill help a chieffan..
log into the router and get the wep key.. find ip of router first.. go to start/run/ type in cmd, in BLACK window, type ipconfig, then enter. The default gateway will be the routers IP. So type whatever you see in the default gateway in IE, and youll log into the router. If she set a password up for her router, no choice but to reset it. Most of the times its blank. then when you log in....look for WEP..thatll be the encryption key
