Improvement of the D & 06 draft could basically be melded together, but i took the Improved D option.

Other than the draft, the year has been a complete debacle. The joke of a playoff appearance aside, the team is a shell of the team Edwards inherited. In the post-Steadman era, I rank this year as low as the Gunther years as far as future hope of winning playoffs games / Superbowl. It's just not going to happen until Edwards and Peterson are gone.

To finish higher than 3rd in the division, we're going to have to have an offense, and we won't as long as Edwards is coach. Shanahan is no longer hobbled by Plummer, and SD is on cruise control. Edwards' goal of shortening the games, and playing not to lose won't cut it, no matter how many times Gretz projectile vomits the propaganda.

Does not compute. Complete debacle = Raiders, Cardinals, etc.

I think you meant to say that it's a shell of the team that Vermeil dumped last year. In any case, it's a shell of its former self because we haven't drafted well.

Thanksgiving game was the highlight of the season in my opinion. After we lost to Cle Bal and SD, it seemed like most of the city had written them off, but on Thaksgiving was when the city was still hyped on our boys.
