Pimp my toilet

Remodeling a bathroom. HAD a toilet with a wall mounted tank, but during the remodel, the tank got busted somehow as it was sitting in the shop.

I need a new toilet. I come here for advice because a) The number of on-toilet man hours represented here is probably staggering. b) I'm sure some of you remodeling types have some opinions that would help me sort out the best one for me amongst the bazillions at the stores in town.

I'm not spending $3000 on a toilet, so you can stand down on those suggestions already. Meh, maybe I will. All suggestions desired.

I've never used this, or even heard of it, but found it through google and thought it looked cool. Who knows, it could be a lame scam, but a heated seat sounds cool.

I don't know about the heated seat. How would you know whether it's generating heat or just retaining residual heat from the last user?

Ambient smell, maybe?

Search American Standard Champion here on ChiefsPlanet. I have 3 of them in my house and have thrown my plungers away.

I've installed about 50 of these over the past 3 years and zero from any other brand. Never had a call-back or complaint. People LOVE them.

ok phil. I have a question. We (my wife and I) were at lowes the other day and discussing replacing the toilet in our bathroom. There was an American Standard toilet there with what was touted as the "BEST flushing system"

obviously BEST means something more than just its the best but nobody would come help us so I said screw it and left and didn't ask anyone what exactly made it the best.

Are you familiar with this technology? How's it made thats different from any other toilet? Pretty much the same principles of physics used from one to the other isn't it? I obviously don't know shit.

I want one of those power flushers like they have at work. You could flush a bowling ball down one of those office building toilets.

Commercial toilets are generally pressure assisted. You'd pay big bucks for one of those. One can get into a Champion series for $250.

It's still a gravity fed toilet that produces similar flushing power to much more expensive pressure assisted toilets. I'm not certain how they did it, at least not enough to explain it via text but I know they work really well and for a very attractive price. The first thing I did when I bought my house is yank out all the old toilets and replace them with Champion series.
