Ball won't make it in the NFL.

He is too skinny and runs about a 4.7-4.8 with pads on.

S. Morris should be a warning as to not go after WR's who put up sick numbers at a lower level.

Sylvester Morris had a good rookie season. All signs were pointing to that he was going to be a solid player.

He blew out his knee and never was the same.

I wish people would stop making it look like Sylvester Morris was a bust because he couldn't play. That's just inaccurate.

Ball just won't make it. In 4 years of college failed to develop the speed and size necessary to play at the next level. Sure he put up numbers but the talent and level of play does not compare to week to week battles of the NFL or top college talent.

Playing against D-1aa talent just does not translate to the next level. If it did everyone would draft the studs from that level or lower.

They are what they are ... long shots.

You can't compare everyone to Jerry rice. Thats like comparing every late QB taken to Tom Brady.

Ball will get shot to an open tryout but better start planning for a "real" job or jumping around arena, CFL, or Europe.

Marques Colston was at least drafted. If teams believe you will make they will draft you.

Doesn't "take a flyer" mean to pass on something? In that case they already have.

I loved Ball as a late round pick.

I like him even more as a rookie FA.

I liken David Ball's NFL career to that of Brian Shay's.

And we all know of that turned out.
