I think I'm Addicted...

Over the Memorial Day weekend I was really bored.

I have enough money to go to the Casino on Friday night of that weekend, so I call up a buddy and we go.

I win $120.

On Saturday I just went to a party and got drunk.

On Sunday I was bored again, called up the same buddy to go to the Casino again.

I win $ 150.

On Monday (Memorial Day), I wasn't bored, I just thought, hey I'm on a hot streak I should go again today. I call up the same buddy.

I win $280.

Then I don't go from Tuesday-Friday.

I go on Vacation from Saturday-Friday.

Today, I call up the same buddy and we go to the casino.

I win $100.

Now, winning is all and good, but to me it seems like I'm addicted, I'm even thinking about going tomorrow. What would you do if you were me?

Play the win streak out. Just make sure you set tight limits for yourself while you're there. If that means leaving the debit/credit cards, and cash at home, do it. When you lose a little bit, understand, streak's over. Quit while you're ahead. If you can't do that, you are definitely addicted.

This is what I did today.

I went w/ $40 and lost $35, went to the ATM pulled out $60. I then left w/$200 bucks.

Every time I had more than $60 in chips, I would change out $25 in $5 chips to a $25 chip. That strategy has worked very well for me the last few days.

By the way, this was the first time I went to the ATM at the casino in this stretch.

Yep, you'll lose in the long run. Those casinos don't stay in business by sending people home with more money than they came with.

Not at all, but I always pay attention to the cards coming out for others. I play the averages...
