Journeyman quarterbacks for King Carl to consider
Since Brodie will obviously never see the field, I thought I would help Carl out with a handpicked list of journeyman quarterbacks he can recycle after Huard gets done. We might even get to give up a first-round pick for one of these guys! Some of these are even young, so Carl can even say he's rebuilding! It's the best of both worlds!
1. Derek Anderson, Cleveland - Anderson will surely give way to Quinn next season, and is a free agent anyway I believe. He has 14 TD passes already. Plus, he's only 24! And he's really tall (6-6), reminiscent of Elvis Grbac! 2. Sage Rosenfels, Houston - Did you see this guy sling four touchdown passes Sunday? A diamond in the rough! Rosenfels has been passed around the league like a two-dollar whore for the better part of a decade now. He's just waiting for his big break. Step up to the plate, King Carl! 29 years old so you can give him the Trent Green treatment. 3. J.P. Losman, Buffalo - with Trent Edwards playing well, it looks like the Bills might be ready to dump Losman. This one works out well because if King Carl slaps him in a #12 jersey, fans won't know the difference between JP and Brodie Croyle! They are both smallish, mobile passers with big arms. And they both make horrible decisions with the football! And he's only 26! PULL THE TRIGGER, CARL! WE'RE WAITING FOR YOU! |

JV football. I was a Jr. and only dressed for a couple JV games that year because they needed depth and I was elgilble because I wasn't a Senior and only play on defense. I was in for one play, because I wanted a crack at him. He threw a bomb for a TD. I wasn't close. |

There is a reason you are a writer and Carl is a GM. It might take a little longer than some of us might like, but Brodie IS going to eventually get his chance.

I like Herm, and he's gone with the young QB before. No reason why he wouldn't do it here, other than he just doesn't have one that he can put in there. Everyone wants to see Brodie in the game so that he can be evaluated. Herm has seen him plenty and already knows the evaluation, without having to see him get embarassed out on the field. |

Brodie has not been giving the chance to do crap, much less to say he would be embarrassed. Aikman both Mannings Favre all stunk it up for atleast two seasons ,take a chance Carl

What happened to the Damon Huard fan club? Or have you reverted back to the Brodie Croyle is Joe Montana phase again?
