Mort just reported Cowher willing to talk to Jets
On Sportscenter...

Interesting he is willing to talk to them and not the Browns. Maybe total control isn't all that important to him since I would assume he could have had that with the Browns, and probably not the Jets

I don't think most people realize that he's FROM Pittsburgh and was a Steelers fan growing up. It's hard to choose to play for your life-time rival. Particularly since he was the HC of the Steelers for so many years.

The gist of what I got from that is that, although he's not interested in coaching next year, he will talk with them out of courtesy.
But who the hell knows? He may be rolled out as the next head coach of the Jets tomorrow.

This is what gets me about you - you know your stuff but then you're so darn blind about obvious situations. Cowher grew as a HC and changed with time. He's the one so called "Marty desciple" that actually won the Super Bowl. Jeez.
