My transformation is complete.
I'll always have a soft spot for my boyhood team. I grew up listening to my Dad's St. Louis Cardinals on the radio.

But this week, KXNO Sports out of Des Moines announced that they have signed a deal to carry Royals baseball this summer.

I'm very intrigued with this young team and have been for a couple of years. Now I get to listen every day.

I was hoping the "Royals" tag would prevent this kind of toilet humor.

likely a Cards radio station in Iowa I wouldn't worry to much about the Cards. They have a reputation of putting a good team on the field yearly.

not so much with Royals.

I don't know what I'll do when the Royals become relevant in the grand scheme of MLB again. I was born during the end of the glory years so the highlights of my fandom have been the years they were mediocre. Mediocrity has been my "good ol' days".

That said, I love the Royals and I hope you'll love them too, Parker.
