So, it is almost the end of May...Rate the Royals so far
I was afraid that they would have trouble scoring runs, but it seems like they are really coming together. I know we have seen it before, but they are looking good.

I haven't been to the new K yet, but will this summer. How is it?

Meche and Davies need to step up more. Especially Meche. But he probably will get better the 2nd half like he did last year.


We could really use another BIG BAT somewhere in the lineup. Gordon? FA pickup in July?


All in all, color me pleasantly surprised. I think they will compete most of the season.

They have a lot in of help with the rest of the division being terrible. I've said it before, but if this team can compete, I'd love to see GMDM make some moves that don't just make us competitive for this season, but set us up for a run next year. We've never seen a competitive July that let's DM act.

Right now the major problem is we have Greinke and ohh shit. Meche will be decent, but the rest are all question marks.

The offense needs serious help too.

I gave a C+ on hitting only for a couple reasons. We are coming through in the clutch a lot more this year than years past. And two we are hitting more. The bad part is we are not hitting consecutively enough. And for some reason we quit working the pitchers over the last couple weeks like we were in April. Thus the C+.
